Disappointing Lack of Care

The room had some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The hairdryer's steel nozzle was rusted and unusable, and there were other rusty items in the room as well. It was disappointing to see this lack of attention to guest safety, especially when every item in the mini-bar had a carefully placed price tag. I was unable to report these issues as the reception was closed during my morning checkout.

The property presents as an older building but the King bed room we had was very good. Everything we could need was provided. A small mini bar selection but reasonably priced. The room was very clean and comfortable with a small lounge, table with 2 chairs, coffee/ plunger and tea, microwave etc. Special mention for the lovely thick towels that were of a much more suitable size compared to the usual small offerings. The water pressure in the shower was also phenomenal. Checking in was a breeze and staff are friendly. Very short walk for IGA, Bakery,Pizza/burger/breakfast cafe...very good pancakes. The RSL club is also a very short walk. Would definitely go back when in the area again.

Clean room. Bed was uncomfortable (2 beds pushed together to form king bed) and strong perfume smell from cleaning products made me sneeze and cough all night. Fortunately the walls are not paper thin so hopefully I didn’t annoy my neighbours too much. Conveniently located.
