Sweetwater is a townhome in the gated community of Barrier Dunes, only 100 steps to the beach, and loaded with amenities to make the trip as easy as possible. We provide beach chairs, a beach cart, beach toys, a cooler, and nets for your time at the beach.
In addition to this, you will receive a credit toward the rental of beach gear. You can have bikes, kayaks, umbrellas, and other goodies delivered directly to Surf Haven to help you enjoy your stay.
The house features a deck overlooking the lake, with opportunities to feed the friendly turtles. You will find a propane grill, fully-equipped kitchen, Smart TV's, and high-speed Internet.
It is a very comfortable home in a comfortable community.
The gated community, Barrier Dunes, features two community pools and two pickleball courts.
It is also located just outside St. Joseph Peninsula State Park.

The condo was very clean and updated. This was our first time not having a beach view. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the pond fountain rather than the waves, which were also just a very short walk to the beach. Our first time and we loved it!

Perfect for families!
This unit is great for families! My four and six year old girls had a blast. It's a short 5 min walk to the pool and beach. The condo was very clean and stocked with everything we needed: Beach toys, chairs, beach cart, umbrella, towles, hand soap, paper towles, toilet paper, and more. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. The pond outside had TONS of friendly turtles that we enjoyed feeding. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We have nothing but positive things to say and will return for future beach trips! :)
