Sea La Vie is a two story single family home located in coveted Windmark Beach near downtown Port St Joe. The bay front family friendly community offers easy beach access with miles of nature trails to explore. The bay is shallow and great for shelling, surf fishing, and bird watching. Water access is 400 yards from the home with multiple access locations within in the community. Windmark offers resort style amenities with a lively city center with restaurants, fitness center, shops, and bars. There are two community pools with the closest less than community pool is one of the largest in the county and offers zero entry for kids with ample lounge chairs, green space, and summer pool yards & offering water views. The second pool is heated from November-February and located 2.5 miles from the home in the City Center with ample parking, outdoor showers, and restrooms. Garage access is provided with ping-pong table and other indoor games. Cleanup is easy after a day at the beach with a hot/cold outdoor shower.
This new construction property accommodates 14 with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The first floor features a designated office space with sleeper, large living room with deep seated couches, flat screen television with an open floor plan to the kitchen and dining areas overlooking St. Joseph Bay. The kitchen features stone countertops, recessed lighting, stainless steel appliances, and a starter supply of amenities. The dining area has ample seating for 12 with additional seating at the kitchen bar. A propane grill is provided on the covered patio overlooking St. Joseph Bay. The first floor features one queen bedroom offering an adjustable mattress for maximum comfort.
The second floor features the primary bedroom, king, with an adjustable head mattress, an attached bathroom offering a soaking tub, double vanity, and walk-in shower. The other three guest rooms offer a queen bedroom, full bedroom, and twin bedroom with twin trundle. There is an additional work space on the second floor with a seating area and television, doubling as a second living area overlooking the Bay with with amazing sunset views. There are two twin cots for additional guest in the closet. The two story floor plan offers ample space for everyone to enjoy, providing privacy for those working remotely with high-speed internet, and easy access to the beach and bay! Come SEA LA VIE!

Outstanding experience
This is the first time I have rented. It was awesome! The place was spacious and very comfortable and exactly as described on the online listing. I would highly recommend Brittney for any of your bookings and questions/etc. She was quick to respond and always polite, courteous and friendly! I plan on contacting her again in the near future, as we are already planning another vacation...only longer!

Too far from everything. Wish we had known we needed a golf cart. We only got to use our kayak and
You need to tell people they need to rent a golf cart. The ride to the beach was horrible in the heat. Also we paid 200$ extra for a kayak and a paddle board and only used them 2 times because of having to csrry them thru all the sand to the beach. It will better when the pool is built but carrying
anything to the beach is awful.

Great property. Very clean. We really had a great time. I think two things need changed on the listing. One is the listing says that beach access is less than 100 yards. Very very misleading. I believe what they mean is the beginning of the trail that leads out to the beach is 100 yards away. Even that is not accurate. When you get to the beginning of the trail, it’s probably another 200 yards of walking before you can set up your chair and be on the beach. Also, the pool is over 2 miles away so not an easy bike ride. Otherwise, everything was really really great.

The home was beautiful, plenty of space, kitchen had all the amenities needed (minus a whisk/mixer- left a whisk for the next guests ;)). The only thing is not having beach or pool access within a quick walk. From what I saw a pool is coming soon to the community the house is in. If you are going for slow pace and quiet this is your place.

Read this before booking!
Please read before booking:
1. There are multiple photos that might make you think you are close / walking distance to a beach, pool, boardwalk, Bruno’s pizza etc on the actual listing, it is NOT walking distance to these places, it’s a 6-8 minute drive to this part of Windmark beach. We were under the impression that if the photos were shown it was in this actual area of these amenities. You have to drive a bit on 95 (so don’t rent a golf cart like we almost did to get around the neighborhood as you must get on busy 95 to access any of these things).
2. It was a complete construction zone, multiple times we had to wait on concrete trucks etc to get out of the way to get on the road to where we were staying. There were tons of construction vehicles parked in front of our house. There were 3 other vacant homes on the street, the rest of the neighborhood was an active construction zone. We tried to ride bikes but couldn’t do so bc of all the construction going on. {I also got a nail in my tire}
3. It advertises beach access but to get to the beach, one must drive their vehicle down a road with heavy construction then a dirt road then park then walk through dunes to get to a boardwalk to then see the water. I would not consider this to have beach access, at least not in a convenience perspective.
4. There is absolutely no furniture in the back to sit and enjoy sunset, it’s a slab on concrete - not a huge deal, just an fyi.
5. We were charged $100 for damaging sheets bc we got makeup on them. Which is fine because I feel certain with 9 women this would happen, just be aware they are very particular about certain things and they will charge you. I was charged over $100 for this. Again, not a big deal, probably deserved, just be aware
6. Bring toilet paper! The home advertises that it sleeps 13, there are 3 bathrooms and only 1 roll of toilet paper in each room were left for us for the entire place. We didn’t check beforehand and ended up driving around one night at 11:30pm looking for somewhere open to get toilet paper. Everything else (cleaning supplies, napkins, etc) is well stocked.
All of this being said, it was a new home with plenty space to comfortably sleep us 9 makeup wearing women :)
