Excellent place!!! Just as described too. We had an amazing time. Port St Joe has a really cool downtown area where we ate a couple of nights but mostly stayed on the beach and rode bikes that we rented.

Clean, updated, and a walk to the beach

Very clean! Layout of the home was great for us: entry at carport area is indoors with tile floor and giant walk-off mat. Main level is a large open great room with half bath, large screened in porch, and the primary bedroom, bath, and laundry. The primary bath shower is a walk-in with a hand-held showerhead, so giving the dogs a more thorough wash down after hosing them off outside was super easy. Porch is off the kitchen with a view to the ocean. Easy walk to the pool or beach. Note: we had some wifi issues; I think our company laptop settings conflicted with the lack of secure wifi. Even our phones would not connect to basic websites like amazon. Also, there is no hairdryer at the house, so remember to bring one!

love the house and beach

House clean well decorated and right next to boardwalk to beach and community pool. Kitchen had everything needed. Grill clean and large surface. Screened on porch a plus. Beds comfortable Lots of towels for house and beach. TVs use streaming services if you have accounts bring your passwords. Included a beach wagon and nice folding chairs with umbrella. Community pool is solar heated and very warm for end of March. We already scheduled to be back next year

Great Time

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach Dreams. I didn't think the pool would be open or heated, but it was the perfect temperature (I think there may be a heating system with the tubes on the pool building roof?). We have never seen a double bunk bed on both top and bottom before so my son appreciated the width. The king sized bed was firm and I couldn't even tell if/when my spouse got up to use the bathroom. the stairs on the twin bunk bed were super fun to climb and put clothes in the drawers on the stairs for our daughter. There was construction going on nearby, but it couldn't be heard inside the rental much or at the beach or pool at all. I did wish that we had access to a tennis racket for the carpenter bees at the pool (territorial but don't sting usually), but they didn't stop us from enjoying the pool. The beach was amazing and the house was fabulous! I loved that there were separate thermostats for the upper and lower floors. We had a great time!!

Beach trip

We enjoyed our stay at this nice little beach house. It is incredibly convenient to both the beach and pool. With the boardwalk access to both being directly in the cul-de-sac. The house has beautiful views, but I imagine those will be gone soon because there is a lot of building going on directly next to it. My suggestions for improvement, would be a larger bed in both the guest and master bedroom. Both rooms have a double bed. Also, more furniture to store clothing in the guest bedrooms would be ideal. Overall a great spot though!

Heaven on Earth

This property was fantastic. It was exactly what we were hoping for and more. The location was just what we were looking for, quiet and serene. The walk on the beach to the natural preserve is well worth it! The town of Port St.Joe is so quaint and the people are so welcoming. This area is a true hidden gem!

Exactly What We Needed

This property was perfect for our family of five! It was steps from the beach and pool, a short drive to the Cape and town of Port St Joe, and located in a peaceful neighborhood. It had all the modern amenities including a Keurig! They also provided beach chairs. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue was poor cooling in the master bedroom when the sun was on one side of the house but it only lasted a few hours. We look forward to returning soon!

Nice but the master bed(queen) was too small and uncomfortable. Needs either cable or Direct TV.

Overall was good. The Queen bed in the master bedroom was too small and the mattress was hard. While on vacation we like to be comfortable while we sleep. Most people would want either cable or direct tv. Could not watch The Masters or MLB.. If these things were done I would rate this place 5 star but is was a 3.5. It was close to the beach and pool. Easy walk. Fire extinguishers kept going off last two nights until I finally unhooked from the wall. I am sure the battery needed replacing. Small leak in bathroom sink. Again, larger and quality mattress and cable would have made things a lot better.
