We had the best Christmas getaway at this rental! Direct beach access in a single family home. Home was in great shape, spacious parking, and pet friendly. Couldn’t ask for more!

Our stay at The Potter House was outstanding and everything we had hoped it would be! Exceeding our expectations of a restful Gulf side getaway with plenty of room for access to family & friends over Thanksgiving week.We had respite of serenity & ‘beach heaven’ unmatched by any of our other stays on the Gulf!We traveled down from Northern Virginia with retired friends from NC & their sweet pup.The Potter House is pristine, well decorated, kitchen stocked with amenities “like home”, (we enjoyed cooking often), and the floor plan allowed our family & friends to join us occasionally.Close proximity to Panama City & Tyndall AFB, & St Joe, allowed shopping, dining out, keeping our needs of essentials (Dollar General 1/2mike walk away) supplies filled.We were taking advantage of the roominess for deck times, beach walks, & fire pit time Our hosts allowed us extended time (cause we’re retired & can) and were prompt to our requests!We will stay again these fine hosts and highly recommend staying at the Potter House!!Many thanks for our memories

Overall a great 10 days. Being pet friendly was huge. Location was convenient to go either way, PSJ or Mexico Beach. We felt very comfortable and had no problems whatsoever. Definitely big enough for a family to relax and have dinner together. Amazing seafood just 10-15 minutes either direction. Felt mostly like a private beach.

Low Key on Forgotten Coast

The house and location were perfect for our family getaway. All we wanted to do was relax, play in the Gulf, sit around a bonfire, and eat excellent seafood. We got to do all of that here.The kitchen is fully stocked. It’s a drip style coffee pot. There is a Gas grill outside even though there is a charcoal grill in the pictures. The grill stopped working halfway through grilling burgers, it possibly ran out of propane. We let the property know.I am only giving 4 stars for cleanliness because I addressed an issue with something unfortunate we found in a nightstand, to the property, and I was sent a link to leave a review instead of them addressing it. Other than that, the house was super clean.I would book here again! It’s quiet, relaxing, and allowed us to create some of our best beach memories.

Great house and even better location right on the beach. The house was very clean and felt right at home. We would love to stay here again for our anniversary next year!
