Situated in St James, about 1.5 miles from downtown Trinidad, this was a excellent find. The staff were very friendly and full of helpful advice - they even came to my rescue for an urgent last minute document reprint for a formal proposal I had to submit the next day. My room was very clean and well maintained.
With an unassuming exterior the inside of the inn is up to date and very modern. From keyless doors to high quality cable and wifi, to a great buffet/lounge areas upstairs. My only slightly minor quibble is that due to the architecture, noises from people inside the inn when they walk or talk in the halls is easy to hear. Overall an outstanding experience and I would recommend and stay again.

Good day, and thanks for your kind comments. We are happy that we were able to hit the spot with some of your "look-for" attributes. Please note that the "unassuming" exterior is due for a paint job, commencing December 1. That particular bi-annual task was supposed to be done earlier this year, but the rain has been quite a relentless adversary in that regard. My apologies for the occasional "noises". If, by direct email, you can let me know what room you were assigned to, I will immediately review its door insulation. In fact, you know what, I think I will just check up on all of them. Thank you for your endorsement and your indication of your preparedness to stay with us again. We would most certainly appreciate both the pleasure and the privilege of hosting you at the Inn, whenever your travels lead you to our (by then quieter) doors. Regards. Colin
Hi, Tim. Glad you felt comfortable and well taken care of. That's what we're about. We hope you'll be back in our neck of the woods again soon. Warmest regards. Colin
