Centrally located family home

Plovers Rest is a rustic and inviting 3 bedroom holiday home only a short short stroll from all the cafes and boutique shops that Port Fairy has to offer. Polished wooden floor boards flow throughout the home adding it its appeal, with carpet in the bedrooms for your comfort.

The first two bedrooms come with Queens and the third with 2 singles. The laundry with washing machine is off the hallway and of this is the main bathroom comes with shower and toilet

The house is situated on a large block with enclosed yard & hosts many fruit bearing trees to provide you shade in the summer or a quick snack on the go! In the evening fire up the large BBQ to cook on whilst the kids play amongst the trees. Then sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet after a busy day exploring Port Fairy.

Ideally suited to a young family this property offers a great location and facilities without breaking the bank.

Plover's Rest Lives Up to its Name

This is a superb place to stay: house and garden are spacious and beautifully presented. So peaceful it's hard to believe you are within short walking distance of the main street of Port Fairy. And sure enough, plovers do frequent the back yard and occasionally enliven the air with their slightly haunting cry. We just loved our time here.

A relaxing Easter break

We had a great stay at Plover's Rest. The property was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay in Port Fairy. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Great backyard

This little house was a great place to stay in Port Fairy for my little family. The backyard was perfectly secluded for my children to play and be safe. The fruit trees a great touch of charm.

Absolutely loved staying at this little cottage. Very clean and felt very ‘homey’.Has everything you need, very comfortable, short walk to the shops, quiet street. Enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table and the lounge looking out to the garden which had plenty of fruit trees. Ate plums and nectarines. Has french doors which open to an outdoor seating area, where you could enjoy a barbecue. Flowers on table nice touch.

A very pleasant blending of old and new interiors and a garden full of ancient fruit trees. The strong connection between the main living space and the backyard is great: making it very safe and relaxing with the children playing outdoors. The huge and venerable peppercorn tree in the front garden scents the whole yard with its delicious perfume in the early morning.

We loved our stay here! Port Fairy is such a lovely place to visit with plenty to do for all ages. Perfect location, lovely rustic clean cottage. A little draughty and musty smelling. Needs a bit of a freshen up in comparison to others we have stayed in for same $. But good value for $.
