It was a last minute booking for our wedding anniversary and I did request for something special. So they upgrade my booking from deluxe to suite and the room is huge and wonderful. It was relaxing and enjoying stay. The location is perfect and private. The amenities is excellent. It has variety type of pool from kids to professional and also it has an infinity pool that has breathtaking view of the sea.

We booked two connecting rooms. The toilet in Room 452 is dirty. There are hairs in the bathtub on the floor and hidden behind the toilet seat. The floor under the sink also very dirty. But I love the breakfast buffet, there are varieties of juices except for the fact that I think they use Mandheling blend coffee (not my cup of coffee). I really hope they can do something with the toilet and the cleanliness of the room, because I love the fact that there are so many pools and they have their own private beach. Just let me know when you already improve the toilet so we can pay a visit again.

I used to love this hotel because it has a pool in another area which used ‘children not allowed’. Which was brilliant for a quiet area for adults to relax. Now you allow kids here and you’ve lost your edge. (There is a very large pool in the main area with water slides for children). Please reinstate the quiet pool area with no kids.

Firstly i tried make the bookin thru this hotel website but it seems very misleading i couldn't make booking,so i send few emails to the reservation but no reply. So with no choice i made the booking thru Agoda. 2 weeks before our travel date i called up to reconfirm the booking. But the operator could not find my booking and refused to get me help ask me to call back. Then i send email still no reply. Finally i message in Facebook then there is some reply still not confirm at the end i had to call the hotel and spoke to room reservations only she able to help me. After all the hustle on the we was on the way and we are unsure about the route i call the hotel again the operator couldnt help me she just put me in hold for so long its indonesian young lady. I call again she disconnect my call even without answering the call. With tech's help i managed to find the route. We reached at the hotel to check in by young lady name by Sarah. Nothing much just standard check in procedure. We was helped and welcome by friendly bellman name saravanan. He was so helpful and very informatic he recommend us good seafood restaurant. We ask for sea view but sarah told us there additional charges RM100 for the seaview i truly understand this part as these is room category the hotel is earning its revenue. We check at room number 667 i didnt request anything but the room is far from lift knowing i have two young infant they still assign the room far away from lift. Maybe they dont really care due i make the booking thru online Agoda. Well about the is ok decent but there stain on the floor look abit dirty and run down. I had to call for extra bed. The air con the worst temp was 24c i called the operator to tell about the air con faulty answered by an indian lady. Sounded very arrogantly teaching me how to use aircon.. i was stunned by her answered. Did u close the balcony door, did u try to adjust the temp? Hmm i was wondering she might think that we know how to use air con. However after answering all her genius question a technician came up to our room. I did inform him the room temp n aircon is not working he said that is the max cannot be adjust anymore. We had sleep in that room so stuffy and hot my 6 months baby was very restless the whole couldnt sleep at all. The piĺlow so soft my neck so pain. That is because the pillow very uncomfortable. The next day we went to breakfast waitress told us our room inclusive only 3 pax abf whereby i have already told Sarah upon check in to add one more additional breakfast. I was very pist when this info was not properly communicated by the team. I inform in agoda to add one additional abf, i did inform when reconfirming the booking again with in house reservation team. And at last i inform Sarah upon check in and it was not properly comunicate. The worst part when the waitress call n ask the front desk they pretend like they donno anything. This is totally unacceptable for 5 star hotel! After breakfast when went to the room another surprise waiting for us our room flooded the toilet hose is leaking i called up operator again to inform. And the housekeeping came to fix it. With operator indian lady i ask extra towel she refused to give. Since its only one night stay i didnt make a big fuss. But overall it is still good we enjoyed the swimming pool bar cafe just need some improvement on the service more polite and have humanity.

Room - 4 star prices! But rooms were in dire need of a facelift, curtains old and dirty. - Towels and bedsheets were probably clean but worn out (towels are no longer white). - No bedside lights for night time reading. Some light bulbs in the room were blown. - NO HOTER WATER OUR ENTIRE STAY; despite sending maintenance twice. A discount would have been nice. - Housekeeping needs to be trained properly - the shower stall could have used a good wash. NOT CLEAN FOR A 4-STAR. Service - Sub standard, for example the girl at front desk did not know what sort of food the beach bar served, or what type of spa packages were offered. They didn’t even have the spa menu with them. - It was a weekend, but they had run out of things such as chilled juices, at the beach bar; and Chinese tea. - You won’t be greeted with a smile or greeting by any of their staff if you were to pass them in the hall or anywhere on the hotel premise. - staff needs to be trained properly, we had lunch at the beach bar and asked for 2 small plates; and was given two SAUCERS which were still WET. We had to ask them to give us dry ones. - very much the melayu “tidak apa” mentality - we wanted to have dinner outdoors but was told we couldn’t because THEY ARE NO LIGHTS. Honestly for a beach hotel they should have outdoor dining by the beach; if I wanted to be stuck dining in an air conditioned restaurant I wouldn’t bother coming. Beach - no beach chairs on the beach; only about 4 beach recliners near the beach bar and even those were dirty and in bad condition - Bar played loud music which defeats the purpose of sitting by the beach to listen to the sound of the waves; although they did turn down the music a little when we asked them to. They could not turn it off completely because their rule was that the bar must have music playing; that’s fine, but if so please provide some options for your guests to sit along the beach, so that they can enjoy the beach as well and not have to be confined to the beach bar for this. Good points - Room service was quick and portions generous - Family and kid friendly - Private beach - Hotel Facing beach (but it’s got a large area between the beach and main hotel so don’t expect to hear waves) - Plenty of grounds for kids to run about or for team building activities - Game rooms for kids as well Overall very disappointing for the prices we paid.

Tristle is one of the most expensive resorts in port dickson and so my expectations were high but I was sadly mistaken. The view, the beach & staff were great. Food average. The bar by the beach has indoor and outdoor seating. indoor there is not a single fan! The poor staff were sweating, uniforms drenched not to mention so was I. The drinks aren't cheap so the least they could do is make it a comfy & worthwhile. (it's RM 30 for a bottle of beer) The room was a seaview with a balcony, the balcony was dirty and we had to tip toe and watch where we stepped. The aircon was on fan speed 3 and lowest it could possibly go and we didnt need the comforter as it was not cool at all. The kettle was full of red ants. And to top it all off, we hardly got any sleep as we were surrounded by a group of extremely loud people yelling in the corridor to each other and found it necessary to bang their doors with all their might. the housekeeping trolleys are loud and you can hear them coming from far away.

Thistle Hotel is located in Pantai Teluk Kemang wherein you can find a nice and clean beach within a walking distance from the hotel and a nice sunset.. It’s a good place to unwind and relax with your family young kids and teens enjoy the pools and the beach activities like kayaking. They also provide indoor games and a theater where you can watch movies. They also have 3restaurant which serves nice foods..We’re all happy with our stay..

Stayed for 2 night at thistle PD. Upon arrival love the open concept of the lobby as you can see the ocean. The concierge was helpful with our luggage and the check in was easy. The facilities of the hotel is amazing, the pool is big and there are 2 slides for the kids. The beach is great and well maintained. Also, they have kids playroom, lego room and also kids car rental. Breakfast was also good and quite alot of selection. The room is up to expectations and the king bed is huge! Definitely will come back with my kids.

The good aspect of this hotel is its pool facility. Major renovation and refurbishment needs to be carried out in the rooms we stayed. The light fixture wasn't working, the sliding door latch leading to balcony was broken. The room was dusty, it hasn't been cleaned thoroughly for a long time. The blockout curtains have holes in them. Thistle Port Dickson isn't house proud, management needs to look into the cleanliness of its facility. Overall disappointed with this hotel chain.

We're told that they are quite experience in handling corporate events, but they didnt look like an expert in handling a corporate event. Agent is so slow in responding to our request ,and up to our surprise , change our request and even not following our request accordingly.Biggest sigh! This not yet coupled with the agent being like everything you wanna add up even the simplest thing need charge. in marketing sense , their sales agent/manager somehow wont make you feel that this hotel has value for money. Dealing with the agent is like gravitating myself to no ending problems . Everything seems to be so hard like when we wanna confirm if their audio and computer system are able to be connected with our devices , the answers are like yes and no, or probably no , or maybe. and i wanna cry when the agent asked us to bring CD as back up. i died. i was like , are they seriousss . . i would say, its either this whole hotel or that particular agent only , doesnt know how to make their clients feel convenience. better stars give you more convenience , but not for this hotel! Another example , when we want to have a safety briefing conducted by hotel , i never experience that i have to remind the hotel few times that they have to send their HSE representative . My experiences before , the rep will be ready at the venue and even asked me when the event will start , again , not this hotel . u have to call and call them , again and again . if you're committee member for your event , at this hotel , you will be officially supporting staff for this hotel as well . Again , i died ! Usually , hotel will try their best to provide the room key as soon as they can because our event start early morning and up to our experience , its always by 12 noon, room ready ! i would say that other hotels previously probably always wanted to keep their reputation and standard high to the corporate but not or probably never with this hotel ; they are super slow in that sense. so yeah , based on this particular experience , i highly suggest for any corporate/organisation entity to think twice before deciding to come here,until they could prove vice versa.
