Stayed in the Grand Pool Villa (Upper Unit). Our pool faced the Lexis Hotel water chalets, so there wasn't really much privacy. Buggy service provided from lobby to our room. The walkways are quite dark at night, so be careful. The beds were very comfortable and room is clean. Microwave and basic eating utensils provided in the room. Check in and check out was effortless and fast. Breakfast was in the grand Ballroom as the cafe could not accommodate the number of guests that weekend when we stayed here. The selection of food was nothing exceptional. My hope is for the hotel to do more to curb food wastage. It's just so sad to see so much food being taken yet not eaten and simply thrown away. Will definitely come again and try other rooms.
Beautiful hotel with private swimming pool . Small pool but we enjoyed every single moment. Room is clean and nice . Executive room with two king size bed. Only thing is when I book it showed room for 2 any extra guess need to pay RM 45 I wonder why room got 2 king size bed ???
We have been upgraded to Grand Lexis Hotel Sky Villa from Lexis Port Dickson, which was a very big room with seperate small kitchen (with microwave, electric kettle and fridge), the shower and toilet were seperated. A beautiful private small swimming pool was attached to our room, with good privacy as we were on the sixth floor. The room itself was very big with two super king size beds and sitting area. The room was quiet with great soundproof. The public swimming pool was big but for fun not really suitable for swimming, the jacuzzi pool was attached to the swimming pool. There was a good sauna room but no steam room, which was in the toilet, men and women seperated. The gym room was small with little equipments. The staff were very polite and friendly. We loved our stay very much. The only downside was the beautiful beaches at Port Dickson were all at the other side at Jalan Pantai, but with a car, it was ok to us.
Stayed at Sky Pool Villa (8th floor) with sea view. From top, we can see people swimming at villas under. Room have 2 large bed, large pool, kitchenette and separate bathroom and toilet. Delicious food except nasi lemak, but overall are nice.
Poor service, poor wifi, the pillow was filthy, no shisha lounge, i took the sky pool villa (the one the private pool) the view is worth it, and the weather was amazing, i came here in august, by the way the breakfast is not free.
Me, my cousin, my cousin-in-law, and my uncles family...went here while the others went to lexis hotel, Grand Lexis is meant to be a better option than the Lexis. I just have didn’t have that feeling that it was a “Grand Hotel”. The Facilities were very good! But there’s like a distance walk from lexis to grand lexis, I would recommend this hotel as this is one of a kind fresh and clean hotel. But in Malaysian Ringgits, and 19 family people, this place is very expensive.
I have always wanted to overnight at GL PD and was fortunate to stay on the upper level of the GL PD, room 013A-U. Had a great time with my family. Ideal for those who'd like to try their luck crabbing or fishing - getting a lower floor room would, of course, be better! The room is spacious and would fit a family of 4 easily. The veranda opens out to another row of deluxe water chalets but the space in between allows for the tides to flood the water chalet areas. The staircase leading to the room is a bit narrow but the room itself makes one feel at home. The bathroom, the jacuzzi & toiletries were generously placed. Coffee making is added with clean mugs, an electric kettle & cofee/tea sachets. Also the fridge was a blessing. The staff were also helpful and polite; Dira, Gan, Kintana & Emir at the reception counter, and Alan, buggy driver.
Booked this place for a retreat with a family. Kids enjoyed the private pool as well as the main pool. The games room also has is a good place for the kids to hang out. Only gripe was vegetarian food for breakfast as bland. It could have more flavour. Breakfast spread was ok jus that kids below 7 should eat free as they don't eat as much. Charging for a 4-7 is a rip off.
Be careful of the cancellation policy before booking. We booked to stay in august for the whole family and had to cancel due to a change in plans. Full cost is taken and the cancellation policy has no refund or changes, worst I have seen at any hotel
Pictures can be deceiving and not a good experience at all. We booked a sky pool villa room and was given a room on the water lower deck with no view. We requested to change and even though it was early on a Saturday they then offered us basically the same room up stairs with the noise'est team of young men partying. No view what so ever. Even after all the e-mails securing a sky pool villa room. So very disappointing. Food was truly horrible. The morning breakfast was a disaster with them wanting us to eat in the BAR with the whole place smelling of smoke - I refused. We were then ushered into the back with tables facing what seem like garbage and cleaning area with folded tables stacked - again I refused. Finally we were given a table inside but this hotel is definitely not for Westerners. The food was not edible. So beware. The staff by the pool took 45 min to bring us something to drink and finding a waiter was even worse. We ordered a light lunch but after an hour of waiting gave up and went back to our room (kids are 5 and 7). It took them another 30 min to bring it to the room cold. I would not suggest this hotel, the location may seem ideal but it's not - pictures can be very deceiving. Half the games in the games room were out of order. So know what to expect when you book here.
