Worst place I have ever stayed! Room was dirty, I booked a non smoking room and it wreaked of smoke, the sheets had stains and there were cigarette burns in the sheets, the towels weren't folded, the bathroom door didn't close or lock, there were seedy looking people loitering late at night outside the room door, the staff was unhelpful and rude... I can't express how terrible this hotel is. Go somewhere else!

It was ok . The room was clean. Bed and pillow were soft . And the price was good

The continental breakfast times weren't good it is only from 7am-9am unfortunately it started to late for us to enjoy also no coffee pots in the room also the floors were dirty and there was no toilet paper, tissues or a tv remote very disappointed. We will not be going to this hotel again or any knights inn

Overall appearance was pretty run down. Bath and ice bucket were dirty and had to be cleaned. Biggest downside was evidence of bedbugs. My son is an Orkin pest control technician and a bed bug specialist. He checked both queen bed mattresses and found bedbug fecal stains and other evidence. He took photos to show management. We talked to management and indicated we did not want to stay and they said no charges would apply. We got a room at the Microtel nearby. Another guest at the Knight's Inn indicated their room was not cleaned and smelled bad. This doesn't appear to be an acceptable state of affairs and should be brought to the attention of the appropriate authorities.

Toilet seat broken, towels threadbare, washcloth dirty.

The Knights Inn in Port Charlotte is definitely the worst place I have ever stayed. Viewing the hotel from the front is very deceiving. It looks quaint and clean. However the rooms that are rented are on the side of the building. Drug deals, prostitution and nightly fights with yelling and screaming are common occurance. Police came several times. Garbage dumpsters overflowing with debris and mostly very nasty. Could not get room cleaned uness requested and then still it did not happen. Never stay there again. By the way I was warned by other hotels of this, but I wanted to save 10 dollars a night. What a mistake.

Needs updates from bedding to linens, dim lighting made it difficult to see

The location is good and the staffing was very friendly. The bed was comfortable but the pillows where not comfortable and the shampoo and soap provided was not good.

You get what you pay for. The price was considerably lower than some of the other chain hotels in the area, but so was the quality. The worst thing was that the room smelled like smoke the entire week, even though I was told it was a non-smoking room. The man who cleaned the rooms every day had a cigarette in his mouth while he was working every time I saw him. Even if he did not bring the cigarette into the room, I'm sure he brought the smoky smell in.

nice place to stay close to restaurants and malls.

Friendly staff, clean room, outside appearance good, and good location.

For the price it wasn't a bad place to stay. I would go back.

Easy check-in, close to food. Would use again for a short business trip.

A little bit of confusion when we first check in but issue was immediately addressed. Everyone was very helpful and accomadating. Requested a room with handicapped bath and was very pleased with everything, Restaurant litterally right next door was a great convenience. Stayed several days and was very pleased. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks for the nice experience.

Room clean, courteus staff, excellent location. It was very easy to find.

Knights Inn Port Charlotte Florida should have a 3 star rating. The rooms were clean. The only thing that was bad was there was no coffee pot in the room. The price was a good deal . Great location. Would recommend.

Not a bad place to stay for the money, beautiful fountain in front, good value and nice staff.
