We loved our stay in this large but cozy home. It was immaculately clean and well stocked (including toiletries) in the kitchen/bathrooms and even with beach towels (a rare perk!). Excellent layout for a large group! We had 6 teens, and there was plenty of space inside and outside for them to spread out for privacy and quiet time. The game room was a huge hit, as was the foosball table and arcade games. Multiple balconies with nice heavy furniture, views of the water and pastures with grazing cattle. I always appreciate when owners post signs all over the property for directions and reminders as well as labels on all of the light switches. Our dogs loved the fully gated yards! Fast/easy access to the beach is always a huge plus. Ours was a quick trip, but we will definitely look forward to a longer stay in the near future.

We enjoyed staying at the Beach Rose so much!!! The house was laid out so well, although be prepared for lots of going up and down stairs, lol. The hostess was very responsive and the house had everything we could possibly desire. Use the guide, it guves you all the insights and instructions. And the little signs all over the house were helpful as well. I think our dogs thought the stairs were part of the fun, because they went up and down a lot. You can see the ocean from the top balcony and my teens used the hot tub daily. This house will be on our return list. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Our stay at this beach house exceeded expectations. The property was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to beach gear. The layout of the home was perfect for our group, offering plenty of space while still feeling cozy. The location couldn’t have been better; it was quiet and relaxing, yet only a few steps from the shoreline. We especially loved enjoying our coffee on the deck each morning while listening to the waves. Communication with the host was outstanding—they responded quickly and provided clear instructions. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful beach retreat.

Great location for a large group

We entertained a large group of family and found the home well equipped and comfortable. The first level of the home houses 4 of the bedrooms with a front and back porch. The upper level has the master suite, game room, kitchen and living area and a front and back porch. The ground level was a great place to hang out.

July 4th

My family (kids and grandkids) and I were looking for a fun place to enjoy the Independence Day week together and we found it in the Beach Rose property. The location was so convenient to a wonderful part of the beach, grocery stores and service stations, and restaurants without the hassle of the huge crowds of Galveston. The house was new and perfectly clean with nice size bedrooms for everyone, fun game rooms, and a wonderful family room and kitchen stocked with everything you need in a kitchen. The yard was fenced and the perfect place for our two dogs. Finally, the top floor had a deck on both sides allowing a fantastic view of the fireworks on the beach all the way to Galveston! All communications with Janice were perfect. She provided helpful information about the area and responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We definitely look forward to our next visit to Beach Rose.

Family vacation

The house was clean and mostly well stocked.Extra towels should be provided in the Master Bedroom's en suite bathroom since that shower has to be shared with those using the 6th "bedroom" that is really just a daybed in the corner of the open gameroom area on the 3rd floor. There is sufficient seating in the kitchen, but not really in the livingroom area for the number of family members that take up the bedrooms. The refrigerator is kind of on the small side and didn't stay very cold, except in the very back, which froze the fruit and vegetables in the drawers. While its a nicely kept, clean house, there's room for improvement.P.S. the rug in the livingroom needs to be fixed, as the corner is curled over and tripped two of my grandkids, lickily none were seriousness injured.

Fantastic Cabin for Family Getaway

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin for three nights, and it exceeded all our expectations as a perfect retreat for entertaining. As advertised, everything matched the listing description. The cabin itself is in a serene location, offering great views and a cozy atmosphere that made our stay truly memorable. One thing to note, however, is that the cabin spans three floors with the kitchen located on the top floor. While this layout enhances the views and ambiance, it might pose a challenge for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional responsiveness of our host, especially considering recent concerns I've heard regarding VRBO hosts during Hurricane Beryl. I reached out to the host with several questions, and they were prompt with their responses. They reassured us about contingency plans and were willing to discuss refunds and rescheduling options if needed. Thankfully, we didn't have to take them up on any of these offers, but their proactive approach and genuine concern for their guests' well-being were highly appreciated. Overall, our stay at this cabin was nothing short of perfect. From the lovely views to the thoughtful host, every aspect contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting.
