Great family vacation

This property is amazing and full of amenities. The beach is perfect for young kids to play and is within walking distance of the house. The house comes with beach toys and accessories making a day at the beach an easy way to spend your time. the only thing I wish I would’ve known in advance is that you have to take a ferry from Galveston to the island and the wait time for that ferry can be unpredictable. Overall, I would highly recommend this property.

The parking was kinda tight and the downstairs was small, but overall it was a great cabin! We loved how convenient it is to the beach and stores. She was so quick to respond and would text to make sure we didn’t need anything. I would definitely stay here again! And a huge plus for us, the rooms were dark and the beds were so comfortable.

Great place

The house was great. It looks bigger in the pictures online but still plenty of room. It states room to park 4 vehicles not 4 extra large trucks . Would definitely stay there again. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils.

Family Getaway

This place really is a home away from home. Truly a stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and located conveniently close to the beach. Owners have anticipated every need. We had an infant family member and the high chair was so convenient to have! The soaps provided are great quality and even in the outdoor shower downstairs making it easy to wash off. Kids toys upstairs and beach toys downstairs. The swings downstairs made an enjoyable hangout spot for younger members of the family and the tv room upstairs was great for the kiddos. Only thing on the wish list would be a bigger couch in the living room. We wanted for nothing and didn’t have a single item we needed to buy, because the owners already had it there! Planning on returning soon!

Great beach house overall!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Dragon. The location is perfect, close to the beach and near the activities on Bolivar. The home has plenty of room for guests. We had one minor issue and Stephanie corrected it right away and was very accommodating.

Family Time

We needed a little break from everyday life! Our happy place is the beach. We loved this house as there was plenty of room for all of us(11). The loft upstairs was a great place for the children to play and hang out! they loved it!. The room setups were great for traveling with young children as we were able to set up pack and plays and not be crowded. We loved it!

Amazing 18th birthday

We celebrated my son's 18th birthday and we had a blast! We loved the proximity to the beach and the kids loved having their own space in the loft to play games and watch movies. Comfy beds and other furniture. Plenty of space to cook, entertain and feed everyone easily. We never felt crowded. We will definitely visit again in the future.

Wonderful Stay

We VRBO ourselves and love the split floor plan. Perfect for 2-3 families whose kids don’t mind a big slumber party upstairs. Beach and stores are all very close. Beach is active 24 hours a day. Store (walking distance) is open all night. Bring firewood! The house has everything you need and is very clean. This is a great choice for a fun beach trip without all the hustle and bustle of the island. Would suggest some kind of grocery/luggage lift, those stairs are hard on the older folks. Other than that, totally great place to be!

Great communication, fair treatment

Our trip was cancelled due to hurricane Beryl. Stephanie had reached out with details about conditions at the beach house and surrounding area in a timely manner for us to adjust travel plans, and gave us options for how to handle the situation. She was more than fair, including fully reimbursing us and offering a discount for the future! Thank you, Stephanie--I hope we get to stay sometime soon!

Enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at the Sea Dragon from 6/30-7/2. The layout of the house was perfect for our two families. Location is close to the beach. The house met our needs and had an affordable rate for a 4 bdr house. Home owner was very responsive when needed. Would stay here again.

Family fun

Very user friendly and well designed for private use and gatherings. Had to deep clean the grill. The fan in the king bedroom is not in working condition. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. Totally had a great time..
