Wonderful surprise!!...totally the opposite of what I expected, fantastic!!

Took a last minute break with my daughter, this was the only place I could find at short notice, what a fantastic surprise, property description was totally wrong....in the best way possible!!... 2 large bedrooms with kingsize beds, beautiful fully fitted kitchen with open plan dining and lounge area, with log burner!!...then another separate lounge ...equally as lovely with fully opening double doors out to a sweet private patio area with barbecue and decked area, plenty of bedding, towels and all facilities, you could easily have a family of six sleep comfortably and at such a reasonable price, direct route to tourist attractions, 10mins drive... Absolutely 100% all round from me and my daughter!@

Never again!! Double booked property

VRBO double booked our letting!! Clearly had not been checked out thorouighly Owner had no idea who we were, and current occupants of our let were already there! Appalling!! Couldn`t make it up! Zero contact from owner or contact info provided.. Competely wasted time effort and 120 mile round trip to reach destination....only to return home the same day!! Wife very distressed about it all naturally! DO NOT WANT THIS KIND OF HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE EVER REPEATED!! If I was able to give a minus rating I would that`s for certain I have a refund of the full amount paid.....and am seeking compensation! This has yet to be finalised.!!!!!!!!!! If I receive no satisfaction, I have warned that my problem will be escalated as far as it can be utilising social media platforms/The Press and if necessary the Ombudsman. I do not expect the matter to go that far...but believe me I will not be fobbed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEER WELL CLEAR OF VRBO PEOPLE. They are frankly useless and do not deserve to be successful
