Right in the heart of Vigo you will find the NH collection Hotel. The hotel is not a real luxury hotel, but the rooms are very nice and everything you would desire from a hotel is at your service. The hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of fresh pastries, fruits and eggs served any style you like made on request. The people at the front desk are very helpful. So all and all you will get excellent value for money at this venue.
very polite staff, small but comfortable rooms, excellent location. proximity to the historic center, and a super breakfast with plenty of choice. for tourists with little time - an excellent choice !!!
Stayed here on a number of occasions for business, very modern and clean rooms , good wifi, breakfast great and evening food nice although the menu could be changed . The bar staff are great and always give you lots of attention .
Nice simple hotel in Vigo, staff very nice, recommending restaurants to eat in at night, overall very pleasant hotel to stay in. Very central and easy walking distance to many amenities and restaurant options.
The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Staff were very helpful. I needed a suit pressed when I arrived at 19.00hrs for the next morning. A lady from housekeeping collected my suit and had it returned by 20.30hrs.
Really nice hotel, with extremely good breakfast service. Location is super, just in the business and shopping area, and all the members of the staff really kind and supportive. In summary, a very good choice when going to Vigo
We very much enjoyed our stay at the NH Hotel in Vigo. The location is outstanding - central, within easy walk of Vigo's old quarter, the port, and both railway stations. As such it makes a terrific starting point for exploring the Rias Baixas region, Galicia in general (e.g., Santiago is only about 40 minutes away by train), and even northern Portugal. Our rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Good beds and surprising, given the location, lack of noise made for very good sleep. The breakfast buffet was as good as we have ever experienced in a hotel in this class. We appreciated having both the "usual" offerings as well as local specialties - the cheeses were awesome. The free WiFi worked very well and the public computer/printer was also a helpful alternative. The only two criticisms worth bringing up are: 1) the fitness room is at best mediocre, consisting of four cardio machines in a less-than-friendly location in the basement; the digital display on the rowing machine wouldn't even turn on although fortunately the machine itself functioned fine, 2) one morning we lost power to one of the rooms and it took several hours to restore it, making our preparations for the day a bit complicated. On this occasion we didn't even get an apology. I do like to end on a positive note, however. Except for the above incident, the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. For example, at check-in Diego very creatively rearranged our originally reserved rooms to give us a much more practical and comfortable setup. Other reception staff were very accommodating in arranging taxis to both pick up from the hotel and then return at an appointed time. The breakfast attendants cheerfully satisfied several special requests. Big thanks to everyone and a solid recommendation to the hotel.
A one night stay here as we had a look around Vigo - really good location right in the heart of the city (5 minutes walk from the popular old town and a couple of streets up from the harbour side). Well appointed rooms, typically small as you'd expect for a central hotel. Staff at reception were really helpful and efficient, as were the breakfast staff too. The breakfast buffet was really good quality, with bacon/sausage/eggs/omelette cooked to order but selection was excellent too - lovely Jamon Serrano, great variety of cheeses as well as fruit and pastries. A couple of things to add though - be prepared to pay for parking (we paid €15 euros for 24 hours in the car park) and for some reason our room was pretty warm (with no air conditioning). Other than that, we'd certainly stay again.
I stayed for along weekend with friends at the NH Collection in Vigo. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent, Reception staff were so friendly and helpful and even endured my poor spanish. The rooms were beautiful and considering they were on a main street, so quiet. The overall feel of the hotel is opulence meets industrial (odd but really works). The bar is really just the lobby but great value. The wifi single was excellent. I have saved the best for last. The breakfast is easily the best breakfast I have had. Ever. Fresh fruit, meat cheeses, salad, breads, pastries, frittata, tostada con tomate, smoothies, freshly squeezed juices, omelette to order, cereals and a fantastic gaggia coffee machine. On the last morning I noticed they also offered a cooked breakfast! I am relieved I didn't notice before or I would have spent my entire trip in the breakfast room. I hope to coem back to Vigo some day and wold consider the NH Collection to be the best place to stay. 10/10
Beds are soo comfortable. Room gives you such a nice sensation. the staff very attentive. we arrived after long drive from Lisbon to this oasis, the guy at reception handled everything so quickly and parked car for us, I would recommend this hotel without hesitation The only problem at departure we had to get the car and go through gates and stairs, very difficult
