Service excellent from all staff. Especially Mr Marcos customer relations manager and waitresses at breakfast very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy using reception staff to park and retrieve car when required.
We had a superior room, like a mini suite. Very large, corner room with a great view from all different directions. The breakfast was wonderful, everything we tasted was tasty, fresh, and nothing was lacking. The bed was super comfortable and there were 3 types of pillows to choose from. Wifi was good. walking distance to all the sites. In city center, but nice and quiet! Staff were very nice and suggested a day trip into Portugal, since we were there on a Sunday and all the shops, etc. were closed in Spain. It was a lovely day. We had a rented car and parked in an indoor garage which is located a few steps from the hotel entrance. This saved us a little bit of cash. Parking in the street seems to be almost impossible! The only thing that we think was lacking was a normal tv channel in English, there is only one, and it is not one of the better ones. But we didn't come here to watch tv! Vigo is a lovely city, and a good base for many interesting and beautiful places. We would be very happy to return, and certainly to be guests of this lovely hotel.
our three day day in NH hotels was just perfect! reasonably priced and right downtown. my husband was suffering from an injury recently incurred and the whole staff went out of their way to help. Marcos, guest relations, was especially helpful. he not only went out of his way to find us the perfect doctor ( directly across the street! ) , but had a packed lunch waiting for us with a little note with hopes for a speedy recovery when we left at 6.30 in the morning. couldn´t have been more helpful and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
NH hotels are always reliable. Great breakfast, free wifi, clean, modern, comfortable rooms and good service. This one is also well located and has a small but convenient gym. Although the street might be noisy with the traffic, my room had a thick window that made it sufficiently quiet for me to sleep well.
Hotel is in the centre and on a busy road.Having the valet parking worked really well and made things a lot easier.Being in the centre it is close to everything.Room was very nice with balcony looking over the Main Street.Food was also very good.
As always the stay in NH collection has been perfect. Made even better this time with the help from Marcos. The service he gave us was exceptional and is an asset to the hotel. Thank you Marcos. Muy amable!
The hotel is well situated in the main part of Vigo, near everything. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the lobby/lounge area is well used, and the feeling is of a high class place. With one exception ( more later ), the reception staff are impeccable. After checking in, I thought the room I had booked was smaller than the one I was initially given. The reception staff immediately put me in the appropriate room, which was spacious. The rooms at the front have city views, but are on a busy street. Noise from traffic is an issue at the front. However, I was happy to put up with it, because I had a corner room, with three balconies/windows. The negative. I checked in and the receptionist gave me extensive directions how to park my car. I was told to drive around the block into the underground car park, swipe the card she gave me at the first barrier, go down a level, drive to the second barrier, swipe the card to a second level and park. The first barrier didn't work, so I had to wait for an attendant, with cars queuing behind me. A stressful, hideous experience. For this, the hotel charges €18 per day. Later, sitting in the lobby, I observed a new shift of reception staff automatically valet parking guests cars, which I didn't realise was the norm. After I left, I complained to the hotel about being expected to park my own car. The response was swift and good. I was refunded my parking charges for my stay. It shows how one idle, complacent employee can adversely affect the good work of many others. Was it an isolated case, as I have been told? I would like to think so, as the other employees were excellent. Those who stay there from know on, will be able to answer the question. Such a shame really, because it is an otherwise fine place
Highly rate this hotel, room was roomy with extra luxuries. Marcos, Guest Relations , very professional and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Felt very welcome here. Room was quiet at night and close to shops, old town. Highly recommend.
Just stayed in hotel for one week excellent hotel and great staff especially Marcus customer relations manager very very good Great breakfast We'll come back again Thanks to every one in hotel bedroom very nice cleaned every day To high standard
This hotel is conveniently situated in an elegant avenue with lots of grand Spanish architecture. It's within easy walking distance of the castle, the old quarter and the superb esplanades. Breakfast is sumptuous and dinner offers excellent food, presented beautifully, and costing just over 20 euros. Annabelle,Elena and Patricia were stars in the restaurant. The gentlemen at reception are a little bit wrapped up in their own banter. Our room was first class and the hotel is sophisticated. However if you are arriving by car the one-way traffic system is very challenging. The hotel charges 18 euros per day for valet parking. You might want to consider lopping a few days off your car hire and getting a taxi to the hotel from the station or the airport. We had a good stay
