Hotel Spa Norat O Grove3.0 out of 5.0

It was a decent hotel for a one night stay. There is a 3-star hotel (which was not great at all - walls as thin as paper and could hear literately everything and a 4-star part (which obviously is much better). We have not checked the spa but the smell of chlorine was present in the entire building. We asked for a change of the room (the family next door was too loud to bear and the walls were not killing any sound), the reception acted quickly and upgraded us which was very nice. Breakfast very correct but nothing special. Next time, I would go either for the 4star part right away or somewhere else.
This is a nice hotel and very clean, the rooms are really clean and nice, and it in a centric place in o grove. The day we arrived we good and invitación to try some seafoods in the restaurante though we didn't go as he had our plans but was a nice gesture,I would go back there again and definitely recommend this hotel.
Booked for a three night visit over the Easter period and we had a really enjoyable stay. O Grove is a lovely place to take a break and the Hotel is in a very good position very near to the sea. The room was very comfortable with a good bathroom. We only booked bed and breakfast and the buffet breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. Our booking also included a spa circuit for 2 of the days and although it was only small, it was one if the nicest small spas we have used. We also had a good meal in the hotel's Vinoteca Restaurant. The hotel offers parking for a fee in an underground garage, but if you book, please be aware that it is very difficult to get into, particularly if you have a large car. On a personal note, we would have preferred to have had quilts on the beds, rather than blankets as we find them more comfortable. We would certainly recommend the hotel and would love to return.
Tucked away on a side street near the harbour in O Grove, the Norat hotel seems to specialise in group travel but individual guests also get full attention. In our case, our reservation (in late September) was upgraded from double room to a spacious suite, including breakfast, still for less than 70 Euros. Breakfast itself was admittedly adequate rather than particularly exciting. The hotel proudly features a well-appointed spa and a wide choice of treatments for those who wish them. Good harbour-side restaurants are only a couple of minutes walk from the front door.
Was impress from the moment I opened up the the door.service was prompt ,kind & they take it a step further with helping you with what there is in store in the area.the food & wines at their Resturant/VINOTECA El Rincon was superb, didn't know that area had wines of that class, food was top notch.highly recommend it & their I house spot is aces. I'm booking it for next years & for years to come.....
Stayed here for one night between bustling breaks in A Coruna and Porto. For the price you pay... it is classy, clean & clinical. ...and for all it's sins on TripAdvisor, we had a lovely seafood tapas at Pata Negra in O Grove.
I had a great stay at the Norat Hotel on my 2nd visit to Spain! The hotel is located directly near the coast/el grove and only a few kilometers from the downtown shopping area. All of the rooms have the added bonus of visiting the "in-house" Spa, for use at anytime during there stay as an added bonus to relax for a minimum daily fee each visit. There is also reasonably priced restaurant on site that offers plenty of local fresh seafood selections and if you want a great steak as well, get the most expensive one on the menu and you are in for a real treat folks, almost comparable to an American Steakhouse quality, which I've never seen before in my travels in Spain! As if this wasn't enough...There was good live entertainment on the weekend by a local singer/gatarist near the restaurant bar free of charge. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful since I don't speak a ton of Spanish, ha. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for clean and comfortable rooms at a great price with great service...!!!
Spa is equivalent to any relatively modern public swimming pool spa in Spain and as such extremely overpriced. The rooms are nothing special. The WiFi is slow and of low signal strength. We went as a couple but were not given the option to sleep in one bed instead of two. La Toja and O'Grove as cities have very little charm. The beaches on the rest of the peninsula of O'Grove are excellent however.
We had a one night spa and breakfast package in this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it , we had a room on the 4th floor which was clean and spacious the bathroom was very large and clean , the spa was very good with sauna and steam rooms with a nice pool with various water jets etc. the breakfast was great with a good selection from eggs and bacon to cold meats cheese and smoked salmon and wonderful bread and pastries . The only let down was the restaurant at night we had the sea food menu for two people and it was not worth €60 the mussels had not been cleaned and had the rope that they where grown on attached the pulpo was tough the prawns tasteless the razor clams like chewy bits of overcooked rubber and the crab was boiled to death and most of the brown meat was washed out and watery the only good part was the bread and wine Albariño . So I recommend the hotel but eat out elsewhere in the evening.
I reserved nearly in the last moment an offer to celebrate with a dinner and breakfst the festivity of StValentin and everything proved very well. From the first moment-quickcheck in and offering all kinds of information - the personalse overturned to offer a professional treatment but also very agreeably and nearby. It is a hotel 3 stars with more level. The room was wide and comfortable in the center of the population. They offered a good service excelling itself in amiability and attentions for all the ages. The food is tasty and abundant watered with good wines and refreshments.
