All staff was very accommodating, breakfast was plentiful, fresh bread, fresh fruit, cheeses, yogurt and much more. Very, very happy I stayed here only my second stay in a hostel and I couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you very much everyone for making my stay delightful.

The staff at PDL was so awesome. The breakfast was fresh, healthy and lovely. The rooms were clean and the location was great! It’s walking distance to the marina, great restaurants and local shops. We would definitely visit again. So lovely!

A wonderful stay close to all amenities, I found this hostel very clean and comfortable the family that run it were very kind and friendly. The recreational spaces where quite and well looked after. More of a hotel than a hostel. I would recommend it anytime. 😊

This hostel has a variety of room options (some have terraces) and both the rooms and the common spaces are newly-renovated, well-designed and comfortable! There is also a roofdeck with a spectacular view of Ponta Delgada. The property is a renovated multi-storey 1930's townhouse with a central mahogany staircase (and elevator) that has been in the same family since 1961.The grandson manages the place and is very knowleadgeable about tours and very responsive to requests. Breakfast is included and delicious. The clientele is international and a variety of ages. I highly recommend staying here.
