Clean modern 4 star hotel along the sea front, 5 to 10 minutes walk into the main town and 5 minutes walk for a selection of bars and restaurants by the habour. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized indoor pool. Outdoor pool is small and unheated.

I am a woman that often travels on my own. This was the case here. I felt the hotel and area to be very safe. I reserved a sea view room with a balcony. The hotel location is great in Ponta Delgada. I spent several days just walking all over the city. Each morning I would run along the waterfront. The views were beautiful. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, cheeses, breads, pastries, juices, and coffees. The room was comfortable and clean with a firm bed (which I prefer). The room did have a bit of a musty smell and could have used some updated carpet/flooring, but other than that, it was perfect. The a/c kept the room cool and comfortable. There is onsite parking, which was full my first night, so I parked in the public ramp next to the hotel ramp. The public ramp ended up being under €10 for the night. I was able to get into the hotel ramp for €7.50/day for the remainder of my stay. Finally, the people. I have not experienced such warm hospitality in years! Everyone was warm and professional, and helped make my stay wonderful! I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful, as were the porters, especially Daniel who helped us with our luggage. The housekeeping staff was amazing, so friendly and yet they work very hard. For that reason, I chose a 5 star rating. However, we did not find the breakfast staff particularly friendly, never a smile from the ladies who cleaned the tables. We would also suggest the hotel upgrade the hallway carpeting on the first floor. It would also have been nice to have another egg option than scrambled eggs for 6 days. Perhaps omelets? A friend ordered different eggs and staff wasn't overly thrilled by that request. However, we would recommend this hotel to others because of its location close to the marina, shops and restaurants.

Loved everything about the 2 properties and private island! Convenient location, 5-10 min from the airport. Walkable, plenty of restaurants on and off the properties. Great service, great shopping, taxis on site, even a water taxi to get to the island! People and service are outstanding! You can choose various all inclusive packages- drinks only or breakfast only etc. Was not crowded. Beautiful beaches, lagoons, cabanas, umbrella huts and lounges everywhere. Flamingos and iguanas on private island! Must stay!
