This is a great hotel. Everything about it was perfect. Highly recommend.

It was low season so it was not too busy. The stiff did not let down their hair though. Fully engaged and so cheerful and helpful. It is for this reason I will return.

airline strike caused travel issues. Hotel would not issue a voucher for future use. Concierge/assistance was excellent and they represent the hotel well! Management needs to handle each situation individually and offer flexibility.

I found the front desk staff generally icy. I expected a Concierge, but there was just a DESK. Anything I asked for at the front desk, the info was rather perfunctory. Example, I knew there was a city shuttle to the airport I saw their stand right outside the hotel. I asked at the desk about how often it runs and what is the price. . Response--, and I quote: "I don't know,t he stand has only been there a month".. . .? To me that was pretty much a basic. This is generally the nature of the desk assistance. I ended up I going to other hotels to get information about the area.

Location was good, rooms were good. Only disappointment was with the lack of an outdoor pool. You can use the public pool across the street or their dark, small indoor pool.

We are a family of three, and we stayed here for our second leg of São Miguel. We did the northern, more remote part of the island first then wanted to stay closer to town which is really close to the airport. The breakfast was good but make sure to get there on the earlier side. The service throughout the entire stay was tremendous. When we checked in, we were escorted to our room and was given an overview of the room and hotel. And the overall design of the hotel was fantastic—no detail was overlooked.

Great location. The staff is friendly and engaging. The bed, however is quite uncomfortable and water in the bathroom leaks all over the floor and into the hall. The breakfast is decent.

They did anything and everything to make our stay perfect. Everyone is smiling and generally they never so no to any request. They even take notes about any concerns.

This hotel is attractive, very clean, in a great location, with a wonderful view from our balcony, but the most outstanding feature of this hotel is their customer service. This began upon arriving at this hotel very early in the morning of our check in date after an overnight flight from Boston. We were able to take possession of our wonderful room immediately even though normal check in would have been several hours earlier. From that point until our check our seven days later, the hotel staff at all levels were extremely friendly and helpful which helped make our stay in the Azores an adventure we will never forget. A "shout out" should go especially to Antonio, as well as, Nuno and Diogo, but thank you to all of the staff who were just as giving to our needs.

Wonderful staff with all the comforts of home! Central location walkable to dining and local shops and cafes.
