We chose this place to stay after visiting Pompeii archeological park. The host was very kind to let us check in early as we arrived by train from Rome. Although this place is very close to Scavi train station, we arrived from Pompei center, a walk about 1 mile. We would have preferred a cab but they told us 20 Euro. We walked instead. We found out std. Cab fare 15 euro. Our return train trip next day was from pompei station. We asked the host to call us a taxi, instead it appears she called someone she knew and asked us to pay her 20 euro. I refused and instead paid the driver. That incident left sour taste in my mouth. I understand everyone trying to make a living. We later learned that we could use Scavi station to get to Napoli Garibaldi for 1.5 euro. Napoli Garibaldi and Napoli Centrale are in the same building! No problem at all to take escalator upstairs to depart for Rome or other points not served by Garibaldi station. As for the property, fine sitting area, a/c, bed comfortable, bidet and bathroom space fine. Single sink, and shower stall small but it all was fine. I would stay there again, but please know that there there are 2 train stops in Pompei, and 2 in Naples. You can easily avoid the ripoff 20 euro cabs by purchasing 1.50 euro ticket to get from one pompei station to other. Transfer from the 2 naples stations is just floor 1 to floor 2 with escalator. We know now and could have saved much aggravation. Pompeii was lovely to see.
