A wonderful weekend with amazing hosts

We had the perfect weekend here at this beautiful cottage and land. Kim and her husband were very friendly and lovely to chat with but respected our privacy when wanted. The goats and chickens were such a great addition to our weekend. Kim left fresh eggs in the fridge for our arrival, which was a nice touch. We would love to come back and would definitely recommend a stay here!

Would Stay Here Again!

The place was great! We loved the accommodations, clean and comfortable. It was lovely to be greeted by the goats in the morning, and the fresh eggs for breakfast was a nice way to start the day :).

Anniversary getaway

We enjoyed our time away at this place! When we got to the site, we were charmed by the personalized note, bottle of bubbly, OJ, fresh eggs and bagels. Howard told us about some wonderful wineries which we enjoyed visiting! ! We enjoyed the sunset from the front porch! We look forward to returning to take advantage of the beautiful fire pit out back as well!

Our little French Countryside Getaway

This darling property was decorated with French Countryside décor. There were thoughtful touches throughout "The Hatchery" cottage rooms. The fresh eggs for breakfast were amazing. It was the perfect place for us to stay during our visit home to the area where our families used to live. The goats were friendly and sweet. We would love to stay there again! Thank you.

Best Homes I’ve stayed at on recent years!

The homes a very comfortable and cozy place to stay. We absolutely loved everything about our stay! Our hosts were awesome, and the home was well stocked and prepared for guests! Its very secluded, but very close to Sly Park and other sites and towns. We are planning on another trip in the next 6 months. We will be staying here (if available)… Thanks for having us!

I enjoyed staying at the Hatchery. It is well into the Sierra Springs neighborhood with a steep drive up the hill. It is a hill! The goats greeted me. A breakfast feast: fresh eggs, juice, bread, bagels, cream cheese, and butter. Thanks to the hosts for the great breakfast and a restful stay.

a nice getaway

a very clean, comfortable and cute cottage to just relax and enjoy quiet. The goats were always there to greet us. Close enough to the lake to go for a swim. The hosts were very hospitable.

Nice stay

Very comfortable with all good amenities. Nice an quite out in the country. Saw deer. Heard turkeys and owls at night. Host supplied fresh eggs from her chickens. Nice place to just get away. Great WiFi. Dish tv. Nice patio with bbq. Will stay again.
