This modern yet characteristic villa is hidden away at the end of a pine wooded drive in three acres of Finca grounds in an enviable, private and quiet location, ideal for honeymooners or those seeking seclusion.
The accommodation comprises of lounge/dining room with TV DVD and SAT (limited channels), new kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, utility room with washing machine, 1 double bedroom, full bathroom, and an upstairs twin bedroom attic style room with a sloping ceiling with an en suite small shower room. The annex has 1 twin bedroom and full bathroom en suite.

Can Canaveret

Was worried about finding the villa late at night, but made it first time. Yes the roads are narrow, a bit like cornwall, but we negotiated the driveway with no problem. The villa was well equipped, aircon in the bedrooms worked quickly when needed. The only thing missing were pool towels, but the sun dried us off so quickly we didn't really need them. There were quite a lot of mosquitos, so be prepared with bug spray. Cosme popped in to check the garden sprinklers - he's very friendly and it was nice to meet in person if only for a couple of minutes. Shops and nearest beach are less than 10 mins drive. Also check out Tierra del Fuego in Port de Pollensa for a steak dinner, probably the best steak I have ever eaten.

Great little hideaway.

This is a nice little villa which is perfectly positioned. It is not overlooked and the grounds and pool are fantastic. The fixtures and fittings are good albeit a little dated (but we prefer this to being brand new and pristine as we have children!) Cosme is a friendly host and returns calls very promptly and sorts out problems efficiently. The air-con units are only available at certain times and are switched off. I think this is a little tight. This is done to save the environment (and money). But, I think that a friendly sign and reminder not to leave them on all the time would have done. The kids went to bed before the air-con switched on which meant their room was hot at the time. However, I would still recommend this villa as it is only a 5 min drive to Pollenca and 10 mins to Alcudia and is very private. Cheers, Rob.and Cathy.

Great outside, not so good inside

The property is somewhat remote and very private, approached down a single lane road and private drive. This was great for us, but may not suit everyone. The outside space was very good, with the gardens well kept and a good size pool and several outside sitting and dining areas. The barbecue area and pizza oven were good and heavily used during our stay. Unfortunately, the property is let down by its interior. The furnishings are dated and worn out and the beds were also worn out and comfortable. The shower fittings in the main house were broken, meaning the shower was handheld only, and we had to call for repairs to a leaking shower pipe in the annex while we were there (in fairness, this was fixed the same day). The house was relatively clean on arrival, but has a major issue with ants. We were very careful not to leave any food or garbage out, so avoided major infestations, but there were still many ants roaming throughout the house, including kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. It needs to be properly fumigated. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was fine during the 'permitted' hours - but at this price it seems unreasonable to limit the hours we could use the air con. Similarly, beware of the limited internet, which switched to unusably slow operation after the first day.

This villa is great it has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing holiday. The pool is great kids and adults loved it. Children liked playing hide and seek and football in spacious gardens. The annexe was excellent it gave grandparents a hide away from the grandkids 😊 its right inbetween Alcudia and port pollenca so easy to get to both. Cosme is a great host and nothing is to much trouble the service we received from the off set was outstanding will defiantly be considering returning here in the near future .

Sehr schön! Gemütlich!

Es war richtig gemütlich! Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden! Die Zimmer sind schön und die Betten sind gut! Küche auch gut. Zum Grillen draussen top! Cosme ist sehr nett. Die Kommunikation könnte ein bisschen besser sein. Wir wussten nicht wann der Gärtner kommt; Putzequipe stand nach einer Woche da und wollte die Bettwäsche und Badetücher waschen. Da es eine Waschmaschine hat, haben wir das selber schon gemacht. Einziges Kriterium sind die Duschvorhänge und die Liegestühle. Die könnten ersetzt werden.

Super Urlaub

Wir waren jetzt im dritten Jahr in Folge in der Villa Can Canavaret. Wie in jedem Jahr haben wir die Ruhe und die Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen. Der Besitzer „Cosme“ ist immer ansprechbar und freundlich und sofort zur Stelle, wenn was benötigt wird. Es gibt jedes Jahr Neuerungen an der Finca. So fanden wir in diesem Jahr eine Tischtennisplatte vor und im einzelnstehenden Bungalow gab es jetzt auch einen Fernseher. Cosme hat hier auch für eine Verstärkung des WiFi Netzes gesorgt. Wir hatten dieses Jahr an einem Tag leider kein Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten dank der FireTV-Sticks Filme streamen. Wir werden sicher wieder Gäste in der Villa werden und freuen uns auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.

Wunderschön

Wir waren jetzt im zweiten Jahr in Folge in der Villa Can Canavaret. Die Finca ist über einen nahezu verwunschenen Pfad durch den Wald zu erreichen und liegt abgelegen von jeglichem Trubel. Die Finca ist von der Straße nicht sichtbar. Die Anlage ist schön begrünt, was bei den dort herrschenden Temperataturen ein Segen ist, weil sich der Rasen nicht so aufheizt wie die sonst so typischen Steinböden. Das Areal bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt: von Palmen bis Rasen und Gräsern findet sich schon im Garten immer ein schattiges Plätzchen. Der Pool ist für die Anzahl der Bewohner ausreichend groß. Der Pool ist vom Einstieg bis zum Ende abfallend auf eine Tiefe von etwa 1,75 m. Man kann sich dort also schon ordentlich abkühlen an heißen Tagen. Wichtig wäre hier noch zu erwähnen, dass die Stellplätze der Autos im Schatten liegen. Das Innere der Finca ist Urig – also wie man sich das in einem „Bauernhäuschen“ auch vorstellt. Wer also einen idealen Rückzugsort vom stressigen Alltag sucht und die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit braucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir können die Leute nicht verstehen, die an der Ausstattung was auszusetzen haben. Es ist alles da, was man für ein paar erholsame Tage braucht. Der Vermieter Cosme ist jederzeit erreichbar und hilft so schnell es geht. Wir hatten das Problem, dass die Kaffeemaschine – wohl vom Vormieter – kaputt hinterlassen wurde. Cosme hat in weniger als 6 Stunden eine neue vorbeigebracht. Wir haben unsere Auszeit dort sehr genossen und werden sicherlich wieder Gäste dort sein.

Sehr schöne Lage und toller Garten

Garten und Pool super schön, Bäder etwas veraltet und könnten eine Überholung gebrauchen, Überdecken, Bettvorleger und auch Handtücher leider nicht sehr sauber. Das Geschirr, Pfannen und E-Geräte könnten zum Teil erneuert und ergänzt werden. Trotz allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und der Kontakt zum Vermieter war nett und bei Problemen ansprechbar

Schöne, aber alte Villa - freundlicher Kontakt zum Gastgeber

Wir haben eine Woche als Familie (Kind 8 Jahre alt) in der Villa verbracht. Wie hier schon mehrfach beschrieben, ist die Lage wirklich perfekt - vorausgesetzt man hat ein Auto: man ist in 5/10 min in Port de Pollenca und in ca. 10 min erreicht man den Hafen von Alcudia. Des Weiteren ist es sehr ruhig, denn die Villa liegt etwas ablegen und versteckt. Aber mit Google Maps und den GPS Koordinaten findet man sie ohne Probleme. Die Villa ist wirklich groß genug für 6 Personen, wobei zwei Personen absolute Privatsphäre in einem eigenen Bungalow genießen können. Die Küche ist so groß, dass mehrere Erwachsene sich dort gleichzeitig aufhalten und kochen können. Gegessen haben wir immer auf der Veranda vor der Eingangstür, das Ambiente war einfach herrlich. Die Ausstattung ist veraltet, funktioniert aber noch. Wlan gibt es auch und das funktioniert sehr gut. Den TV haben wir nicht angemacht. Der Garten ist riesig und der Pool einladend und bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten auch sauber. Der Poolboden benötigte mal eine Reinigung vom Sand und es könnte mal etwas mehr Chlor im Pool sein, aber das soll hier nicht den Eindruck erwecken, dass der Pool ein Problem war! Man sieht aber den Unterschied zu einem Hotel-Pool, der einfach Abends immer gereinigt wird (verständlicherweise bei der größeren Anzahl an Gästen). Cosme, der Gastgeber, haben wir selbst nie zu Gesicht bekommen, aber er hat sich um alles gekümmert und war wirklich immer ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Fazit: sehr schöne Villa zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Super freundlicher Kontakt und die Ausstattung, wenn auch veraltet, ist top. Die Lage ist m. M. n. unschlagbar

Pärchenurlaub mit Wohlfühlfaktor

Wir waren zu viert in der Finca und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war perfekt, um auch Ausflüge zu machen zum Beispiel nach Palma oder auch zum Abendessen nach Pollenca und Alcudia. Die Größe war für vier Gäste vollkommen ausreichend. Durch den extra Bungalow bietet die Finca viel Privatsphäre und der große Garten mit schönem Pool lädt zum Erholen ein! Die Einrichtung könnte nach und nach etwas erneuert werden aber hat alles in allem einen schönen spanischen Stil! Die Bäder und der Bungalow sind schon toll renoviert! Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche bei Cosme. Er war immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit bei Fragen und Problemen.

Une vraie galère

Nous venons de revenir d'une semaine de vacances hélas gachée par la pluie!La maison ne correspond pas totalement aux photos:elle a besoin d'un sérieux coup de jeune! Nous avons eu des fuites venant du toit:on a vécu avec des récipients pour réceptionner l'eau.Sans compter la douche du haut qui a fui et a littéralement inondé la pièce à vivre!Résultat,nous avons payé une maison avec 3 salles de bains mais nous n'avons pas pu l'utilier Sans compter,l'eau qui coulait des robinets marron.Certes,le propriétaire a proposé de nous reloger mais dans une propriété aux prestations inférieures.Un ouvrier devait venir régler le problème mais nous n'avons vu personne. Nous sommes très dépités d'autant que les avis étaient plutôt bons.Heureusement,nous étions entre adultes car avec des enfants cela aurait été compliqué.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Wir hatten 2 tolle Wochen in der Finca. Sie ist nicht leicht zu finden aber mit den Koordinaten vom Vermieter ging es dann doch recht schnell. Die finca liegt ländlich in der Nähe vom Hafen von Pollença. Die finca ist sehr einfach eingerichtet. Aber ausreichend. Bei fragen o.ä. war der Vermieter ein sehr guter und zuverlässiger Ansprechpartner. Sehr bemüht! Ein neuer wlan Router mit schnellem Internet wurde in unserer Zeit (ohne uns zu stören und mit zeitlicher Absprache) nachgerüstet, sowie die Poolbeleuchtung. Finca kann man nur empfehlen wenn man einen ruhigen und einfachen (Einrichtung & Ausrüstung/putzutensilien) haben möchte!

Une semaine très agréable en famille

Bonjour, séjour en famille avec 2 enfants. Maison très bien, agréable, fonctionnelle, totalement similaire aux photos. Cosme, le propriétaire, a été disponible pour toutes nos questions et est intervenu très rapidement pour un petit problème technique. Bonne localisation de la maison, au Nord Est de Majorque, proche de la plage et du port de Pollenca (5 min en voiture). Région très verte et beaucoup de choses à visiter. Bref, un séjour très agréable dans une maison agréable.

Traditionelles Haus mit Wohlfühlcharakter

Wir waren mit freunden und Familie für 12 Tage auf diesem Anwesen und haben es sehr genoßen und ausgenutzt das es so viel zu bieten hatte. Die Küche ist modern und lässt keine Komfortwünsche offen, genauso wie die Badezimmer. Dabei ist auch nicht der Charm eines alten Finka Anwesens verlohren gegangen. Schöne überraschungen wie der große Grill, der offene Kamin oder der Traditionelle gemauerte Pizzaofen ermöglichten ungeahnte Kulinarische genüße. Ein wenig schwer im dunkeln zu finden doch dafür auch sehr ruhig gelegen und einsam. Zum Meer und nach Pollenca und Alcudia sind es nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto. Also ein rundum schöner Urlaub den wir gerne erneut ins Auge fassen werden. Außerdem ist der Vermieter sehr kulant sodass wir nach Absprache am Anreisetag morgens und am Abreisetag abends in und aus dem Haus konten.
