General information:: The Akamas National Park offers a host of activities for the more active holidaymaker and/or nature lover. A choice of beaches are just a short drive away. Watersports are plentiful. Boat trips and motorboats for hire are available in Latchi. Step back in time and visit the many, many historic sites the Paphos region has to offer. Explore the legend of Goddess Aphrodite, start with the Baths of Aphrodite-you can walk or drive there from the house! Cyprus now produces some fine wines, visit the wineries of the area just a short drive away. Local bus services run between Latchi and Polis. A regular bus to Paphos operates from Polis. Car hire is highly recommended, try a 4-wheel drive so you may explore off road! Ski in the Troodos Mountains in the winter season (2hrs drive). Polis Tourist Information Office will help visitors get the most from their holiday, whatever your interest!
