We stayed 2 times: before trekking and after trekking. The pros: - Friendly staff - Spacious room - Good (but not ideal) location - Good food (only had breakfast and they diversify them, not the same everyday) - Food came to the room relatively fast after we ordered - Convenient to book activities (like paragliding) and bus service - Exchange rate good compared to outside The cons: - Inconsistency: the first time we checked into the room, there was a set up of cookies and fruit on the coffee table and 3 sets of coffee/tea for self-service, but the second time we checked into the exact same room there was nothing on the table and coffee/tea set was reduced to 2. - No lift. We walked up and down 3 floors. - Not super clean room: there were some hair on the carpet and spiderweb near the wardrobe. - Shower: adjusting to warm was difficult, either it’s cold or boiling hot. Adjusting very slightly gives extreme difference. - Lobby-room distance: had to walk to almost a different building which was particularly horrible on rainy days.
I have stayed here for 5 nights with my family. All I can say, it was excellent in all respects, location, staff, amenities, breakfast and so on. Rooms were big. Actually it can accommodate 4 people easily. We had requested for 2 adjacent rooms. To our surprise they gave us 2 connected rooms. Room, Beds, Bath rooms, round the clock Hot water, all were excellent. It is also located beside Fewa Lake. Very good location for walking and shopping. We had even complimentary airport pickup and drop. Though it was raining often they had big good umbrellas. Breakfast was good. Hotel was kept clean and it was spacious. I had carried new INR 500 rupee notes and did not have any problem with exchanging that anywhere in Nepal. Also, I could use Credit Cards and Debit cards without any problem, though they had specific instructions as "Not valid for payment in foreign exchange in Nepal and Bhutan."
Fantastic hotel. Rooms were luxurious and location was great. The gardens were beautiful. Restaurant had very yummy food too :) Staff and service were friendly. I left my daughter’s book at the hotel and went on a 10day trek. Upon our return I enquirer about it... front desk said they would look into it. The next day I returned to my room after a stroll in Pokhara and the book had been placed in our room :) very pleased :) There are no lifts in this hotel (we did not find this an issue though... but if you have mobility issues you may need to keep this in mind).
Mount Kailash resort is the best hotel in Pokhara .Location is very good. I spent 4 nights in this hotel with family . It is located center of Lakeside Pokhara. Rooms are big and clean from balcony mountains and lakes are visible. The resort has big garden, small swimming pool and and spa. Staffs are very friendly and helpfully.breakfast is very good. This hotel is recommended for those who want to have luxury accommodation in Pokhara
Mount Kailash is well positioned near Fewa Lake in Pokhara. It was clean, comfortable enough, with friendly staff. It’s around a 3-star hotel with some of the rooms smaller than desired and not much effort made to provide a view of the Himalayas - which can be seen from some balconies. Shower areas in some rooms were small with water accumulating on the bathroom floor and the flimsy plastic shower curtain Wrapping itself around you. Staff were helpful, a la carte food fine (recommend the chicken briyani), and the hotel roof was a good spot to watch the sun set... Nice garden. WiFi keeps requiring re-logging-in...
1. Rooms are very clean and spacious. 2. All the hotel personnel are very helpful and welcoming. 3. Location is amazing. It is in the starting end of the lakeside road, that gives you easy accessibility. At the same time, it's quiet and calm as well. You get all sort of transport in the door step even boats. 4. Buffet breakfast has good spread of food, but could be a little better. All in all, we loved this resort and would love to stay their again. Cheers!
I spent two nights in this hotel . It is located center of Lakeside Pokhara. Rooms are bright and big from where mountains and lakes are visible. The resort has big garden, best swiming pool and and spa. Staffs are very friendly and helpfully. This hotel is recommended for those who want to have luxury accommodation in Pokhara
Very good rooms , well management , very good service , nice swimming pool , testy food . excellent spa and massage , location is very good and prime , near by lake and main street too . love green garden and all of rooms you can see lake and monition view too . lovely !! you can visit once , thanks !!
Our room was very large and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The staff were very attentive and responded quickly when we had a problem with the hot water supply of our shower, which was sorted out without further issue. The location is very good, being close enough to, yet far enough from the noisier hub of Pokhara. All in all, it is a good place to stay, although we were disappointed to be served instant coffee (Nescafe) instead of proper beans coffee at breakfast. Thankfully there are good coffee shops in the vicinity.
As part of a Himalayan Social Journey 3-day trek, we stayed here for two nights. The rooms were spacious with a good bathroom; the gardens were well-maintained. There is a pool, which we didn't use; however, it was clean. All staff members were professional, friendly and helpful. An extensive variety of good quality food was on offer at breakfast. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if in Pokhara.
