Very spacious place, clean and convenient. Area is interesting, they have their own cave and big garden. Overall area has a lot of attractions. The host is nice and friendly. Parking can be tricky, but totally fine. Recommended!

The Rocks is a hidden gem, a plethora of flowering and fruiting plants, whimsical touches, a glow worm grotto and very engaging staff. If anything wasn't in your chalet, there was a common cooking and laundry area. Not only did we use some things, we shared some of our extras. So much better then thowing some things in the rubbish!

There's a lot to do and see in the area and this was a good base to set out from. Long, empty beaches; Pupu springs; Labyrinth rocks; waterfalls; Takaka town etc.

The owner was lovely and the setting was so private and beautiful. The rock formations were stunning and even a small cave with glow worms! Wish we had stayed longer.
