We had a wonderful stay at this charming Poconos chalet! The home is beautifully decorated with a cozy cabin-meets-treehouse vibe that instantly made us feel relaxed and welcomed. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, and having a washer and dryer on-site was a huge plus.One of our favorite features was the stone path that led to a peaceful outdoor fireplace and a hot tub—perfect for unwinding under the stars and soaking in the sights and sounds of nature. The thoughtful little touches throughout the home, like the cute knick-knacks and cozy décor, really gave it a homey, vacation feel.This place is a perfect mountain getaway, and we can’t wait to come back!

Very cool house. Light-filled main space, terrific deck, and an unbelievably comfortable bed. We're not 'sporty' people, it was perfect for the two of us and our dog to have an impromptu quiet detox from crazy work schedules. If you hike/bike/boat/fish/etc. you'll enjoy it even more. Very appreciative of the excellent quality and quantity of host communications.

Great Cabin, Especially for a Group!

The house is exactly as depicted in the photos. This cabin is intimate, yet still provides plenty of space for larger groups to stay. The hosts are very communicative and accommodating which made the stay all the better. As a side note to those thinking of staying and cooking while there, some of the pots and pans have some age, so think about bringing your own. We managed to have enough glassware for a party of ten, so there is a good quantity of everything you’ll need. This was the only con (and an extremely small one) that we could think of. Highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Poconos!

We enjoy going to the Poconos, the kids love horseback riding., the lake, hiking.

The house was had plenty of bed, they were very comfy. Plenty of room. The hot tub was lovely. We all enjoyed it. The owner was very accommodating. If there was a question he responded quickly. We all had a wonderful time.

Nice Home for the Money

Owner was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Good location, short drive to the lake. Not for anyone who cannot handle steep steps. Only challenge we felt worth mentioning.

Incredible place!

Such a gorgeous property! We filmed a short student film here and it was absolutely perfect for it. The place was extremely clean and cozy and was well stocked with all the essentials. The hot tub was a great bonus too!!! Definitely going to book again if I get the chance.

There were no Surprises from the Pictures to the Actual House. Great Stay with my Family for a Memorable Thanksgiving. Very Spacious for our Large Group. Owner was extremely Welcoming and Responsive. We were very pleased with our Stay :)

We enjoyed our stay — it was very comfortable. While the weather didn’t allow us to take advantage of the amenities nearby, it’s in a great location within a short walk to the lake. Michael was a gracious host — very accommodating and responsive.

Cozy Chalet for great memories

We had a great time at this Chalet. It accommodated our big group. The bedrooms were just the right size . Its a very cozy place . I like the layout that you can still be part of the happenings even you are cooking in the kitchen. The place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with what we need. There were also a hot tub and firepit outside but we were not able to use it because of the weather . Michael and Sarah were prompt with communication all throughout our reservation and even our stay. Their attentiveness to our needs were reassuring. So many memories were made so we are definitely going back again in the future. Thank you Michael and Sarah.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time. Michael and Sarah were great hosts. Well equipped, lots of space, and clean. We were able to use the inflatable kayak and enjoy the near-by community beaches. Nice fire pit in back. Great space for a large family get-away.

Perfect for a quick get away

We had a really nice time at this property. There were various activities to do in the community. We wish we would have brought some inflatable tubes to lounge in the east Lake, and our tennis racquets. The host was very kind and checked in on our stay to make sure we were happy. The rooms were comfortable and the kids loved the loft. We would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home!

A wonderful Respite

We enjoyed the peaceful enviorment of this house. It fit our family a bi level home downstairs was great for my 12 year old w his on game rm / family rm. We found the upstairs and huge wrap around porch so enjoyable. Unlike other vacation places we have stayed this house is very well equiped. The lake is a 5 min walk fishing and swimming a lot of fun. The mountain area had a lot to offer. I will be telling my friends and family. thank you again Michael.

Amazing time!!!

Michael and Sarah were the best hosts. The house clean and cabin chic! Great beds. Everything was provided for you! Locust Lake was a great community, safe and lots of fun things to do. Only thing was the stairs were very steep! Overall had a great time with my girlfriends. 10/10 would recommend again!
