It has a limited lake view. Walking to the lake is not recommended. There are plenty of parking spaces on the island which gives you access to the lake. If you want to have a outdoor barn fire, purchase from the near by places before getting to the house.

Great place to stay! This is our 2nd stay here and we love it. Great location and the owners are very responsive! My kids have a blast and i can bring my dogs. All around great experience. Cant wait to stay again sometime soon! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This house was great for 4 couples. Had a great time at the fire pit. But a few outdoor chairs and screen doors were broken.

We had a fantastic time. Kitchen was poorly set up-many duplicate nonworking appliances stuffed into limited cabinet space. One bed missing slats so mattress fell through. Housekeeper should be replaced- house was not properly vacuumed, etc. But as they say it's all about location location location. Spent everyday taking advantage of the many amenities available at the island- which is an easy walk from the house. Hosts were extremely attentive. We had a blast.

Arrowhead lake is a very fun short vacation, great pools and beaches and amenities. Lots of fun things to do with kids nearby. The home we stayed in was horrible, it has been neglected and was very dirty. We will never stay there again and never rent any property from those owners again.

Great location

The house was cozy and cute, with spacious rooms. Nice deck, and table, although the outside chairs need replacing in my opinion. Enjoyed the big yard and firepit in back. The location is excellent and perfect for families.

Nice comfortable place for a family vacation. However, on the negative side, the one chair on the porch is broken (not by us), the mattress in BR 2 should be replaced, and I ran out of hot water during a shower (and it was cold!). Thanks for the use of your home.

If you like filth, this is the place for you!

Don't do it! Dirty!!! Gunk! Grime! Home needs tender, love and care. Host is great with responding... I HAVE PLENTY OF MORE DIRTY PICS. I WONDER IF THIS WILL EVEN GET POSTED....

The house is cute, lots of cookware and dishes if you’re hosting people, comfy mattresses, all the A/C units worked great. It’s in a great location inside the community- close to the Island Pool and a beach. And Arrowhead Lake itself has lots of amenities. But we encountered some issues with the house - Multiple chairs are broken when you move them, like wobbly and not stable, or if you pick it up to move it a piece will fall off. These are both the kitchen and bar chairs. The leg rest of the reclining part of the couch does not stay in and constantly pops out, so we had to move the coffee table in front of it to avoid a tripping hazard for the kids. Most of the games that are in the game room are partially broken or missing pieces. Books with pages torn out. The current game room isn’t even as pictured in the listing. The top rack of the dishwasher comes completely out if you try to slide it out all the way to load it. The listing makes the house seem very kid-friendly but there are so many hazards in there with exposed wires. The listing and pictures are misleading, seems like they used pictures from when they purchased the house.

A pleasant little cabin by the lake

My wife, daughter and her husband and 2 kids stayed here for an extended Mother's Day weekend. The cabin was perfect size and well maintained for a rental property. The nearby lake, playground and community lodge were all great, well maintained, and everyone was very friendly. The only issues were with the roads in the area - many were not in the best shape, and having to drive out of the gate and back in to drop off trash. Neither is the fault of the renter. Communication was great, and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would definintely stay here again.

Our weekend trip

We stayed at this location because it was reasonably priced and our goal for the weekend was a trip to Scranton. We were surprised with the property being outdated and not as clean as expected. The handsoap in the bathroom was 1/2 water and 1/2 soap while being 25% full.The fire pit in the backyard was not ready to use with the bricks being all over the place and leaves scattered everywhere.There were some blinds that were broken when we showed up that were off to the side.A lot of surfaces were stained and dusty.There was very little dishwasher liquid left to run the dishwasherWe were asked to take the garbage to an offsite location and there was only 2 garbage bags left for us to use.We weren’t expecting anything luxurious, but was hoping the place would have been better prepared for our weekend get away.

A CUTE DISAPPOINTMENT

Where to start, First off and we knew it going in but the added fees we had to pay were a joke too me. The house itself was a huge disappointment, The furniture was worn out, couch was ok kitchen table was stained coffee table was almost on 3 legs bar stools should have had a sign that said use at own risk. The place had plenty of pots and pansTHE BEDSBeds are in serious need of new mattresses the linens were however soft and comfortable.
