First Impression was quite good. Hotel ex- and Interieur looks nice. Room Standard on 5th floor was good. Room was also big enough. Breakfast was quite good but nothing Special. Normal Standard for a 4Star Hotel What could be better: -Very loud at night from the street: poor noise reduction from windows. - tv quality was also very poor - Service was not very friendly and language skills from breakfast Service was very limited - Fitness is not included- doesn‘t belong to the Hotel. For a Business Trip I would prefer in Future another Hotel close to the Angelo
The hotel is good in overall. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Mine had a safe and a minibar. There was no bathtub. The shower temperature fluctuate a lot so it’s a bit tricky to set the temperature. Spoke to my colleagues and they had the same problem. Room was clean and nice, but the cleaning staff don’t spend any extra effort to clean used glasses or cups. It took them three days to clean the ones I’ve used. Breakfast is really good! And some food changes everyday witch is great when you stay more than a couple of days. + Breakfast. + Close to breweries. - Shower temperature.
This is a typical European hotel which the rooms are small, with twin beds, and nothing fancy. The room was very well maintained and clean. Really liked the walkway bridge directly from this hotel to the Pilsner Urquell brewery!
I am Choi Jin Hoon who stayed 2 nights from 25, August at room no. 311. When i checked out this morning, i paid 135 czk in cash for minibar. But there was no receipt. After i arrived another city, i've got sms show me u charged another 135 czk with my credit card for deposit. How can it happen?? It isn't that big money, but it is a matter of trust. This happening has ruined my good impression on your hotel. :(
Amazing hotel, amazing staff. The location at the entrance to the brewery and a 5-10 minute walk to the town square is ideal. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the hotel has a cool, modern feel and design. A small bar in the lobby serves Pilsner Urquell (of course) and other local beers. But mostly, the front desk staff went above and beyond in every way. We arrived early and our room was not yet ready - and the woman at the desk not only offered to take our bags but then spent time with helping us figure out options for how to spend the next hour (including a printout she made of local food specialities she recommended we try - the crispy duck was indeed to die for). More importantly, our luggage had been lost by the airline - and when I told her this, she took all of the information and took the lead in calling the airline every few hours for updates. She then passed this information off, and the following two shifts of front desk staff did the same. By the time our bags were located the next day, we had departed and were in Germany, but the man at the front desk had coordinated delivery to our hotel there. Amazing - and by no means expected or required. But they knew that they (speaking Czech) could better handle the situation, and they did. Combine all of that with a very reasonable price, and it was one of the most satisfying hotel stays of my life. Would stay nowhere else.
Stayed in room 244, two adults and one child, this classed as a triple room, excellent staff at the reception desk who are always willing to go the extra mile when we had a query .The room is spacious and very clean, free bottle of water as well and a mini bar Breakfast was varied and of a very good quality, would recommend this hotel and would stay again.Hotel is in a great location within Pilsen, tram stop near by.
We spent 1 night in this hotel while travelling to the eastern Czech republic. The stuff was extremely friendly and very flexible to our requirements. They forgot to bring a crib to our room, but with apologies and free drinks installed the baby bed immediately. Breakfast was traditional and very tasty. Our room was on the 5th floor with beautiful view on Pilsen. Location is perfect for beer lovers as the hotel stands right across the road from the Pilsner Urquel brewery. We highly recommend this hotel for families.
We booked this hotel because it is right across the street from the Pilsener Urquell Brewery which was the main reason we stopped in Plzen. It is a five story modern structure. The two ladies at reception were very nice and helpful. Our room on the fourth floor was nice but quite tiny. It did look out over the brewery. The breakfast buffet was mediocre.
Great location. Very easy to walk to the old town as well the beer factory. The front desk staff were not so helpful, and the electricity went off when I tried to charge my phone. But Engineering came right up and fixed it for me. Thank You. Breakfast was good.
Angelo by Vienna House Pilsen was very positive experience! Two night stay with my friends generated 100 % satisfaction for the whole group. The value for money is very good; friendly and caring service, tasty & large breakfast buffet, etc. For golf interested people I also highly recommend to visit Golf Park Pilsen, 15-20 min drive from the hotel. Really nice course! And don't miss the Brewery visit....
