Even better than expected
The pictures for this listing initially caught my eye, but the property in person was even better. We had a group of nine ages 1 to 74, and we all enjoyed it. The views were spectacular, the home was charming, the beds were comfortable, and there weren't many amenities we had to get ourselves besides food. There are homes around, but it's still very private. We took advantage of the gas firepit, the spacious kitchen table, a few games they had available, and the roomy kitchen for cooking breakfast. Clements' Marketplace was convenient for getting groceries, and we also made a stop at the dollar store and Leyden Street Coffee in the same shopping center. We highly recommend Heritage Museums and Gardens 20 minutes away. It was beautiful, a nice walk, and there was a well done children's area called Hidden Hollow with lots of hands-on activities. The historic cars were fun to look at, too, and we all rode the carousel on the property. There's an adventure course at the same location, but we didn't have time for that one.We also visited downtown Plymouth with its pretty waterfront area, lots of shops, ice cream, and a Mayflower replica. The nearby beaches were gorgeous, and we found a great quiet spot to build sandcastles. The only thing I'd add to this property are a few toys and books for younger guests. We did find some inexpensive beach toys at the dollar store since we didn't want to bring that kind of stuff on the plane.
