The Staff was fantastic. They were so helpful with tips about visiting the park - which was beautiful- and we had great service in the dining area. The food was delicious- especially the dinners. We ate there both nights of our stay - it was so convenient. Just make sure you have cash for the meals at checkout. They don’t accept credit cards.

Lovely spot, with large, clean rooms and beautiful surrounding grounds, but the real gem of the Cottage was its host, Jasmin. She made our stay great with her well-informed knowledge of the park and area, and her very kind and helpful ways. I would highly recommend staying at the Cottage for its amenities, proximity to the parks less-busy entrance, but especially for the staff's personal touch.

The property on the whole was pretty good and it's proximity to the Plitvice Falls Park is great. We also would like to mention that the owners Silvia and her son Dominik are great and really do care about their guests and their comfort. But there is one glaring issue we had at the property which we cannot ignore is the very poor and outright rude behavior of the receptionist Jasmine at the location. She didn't care about where we had arrived from and how long it took to get there and her whole demeanor when we arrived at the location to checkin was off and just not we expect from a person working in the hospitality business. She either needs to shape up and be courteous to her guests in the very least or find another job. I would not like to get into details about her behaviour or lack of courtesy but she left a bad impression for us from this stay. But I would I would also like mention that we interacted with the cleaning lady there and she was the best! She was so courteous, kind and gentle. An amazing person even if she spoke little to no English. She is the only positive about the staff working at that property.

Just 15 minutes walk from entrance 3 to the Plitvice Lakes national park, this is an ideal location for visiting the park. Jasmine provided excellent information about how best to do this, by email before arrival (how to buy park tickets online) and also when we were there (the best route to take). Breakfast and dinner could be booked. Cash is required for meals and drinks. The food was excellent. 3 options were offered for the main dinner course. I particularly enjoyed the local trout.

This property was clean and welcoming. When we arrived they had our beds already made up for us (we required the use of a pull out bed and an extra single bed) which was a welcome surprise. The staff were friendly and although we did not have enough time to enjoy a meal here, the smells coming from the kitchen smelled delicious. In the mornig before visiting Plitvice Lakes, our hostess gave us some excellent advice on how best to tour the park in order to advoid crowds. We were very thankful as we followed her advice, and managed to avoid most crowds at Plitvice despite it being high tourest season. The only thing we'd like to point out is that the location is a little farther away from the park entrance then we thought it would be (1km from the entrance - a 15/20 min walk for kids). We ended up driving to the park entrance and parking there so our kiddos could keep their energy for the park. Thankfully there was plenty of parking near Entrance 3. The walk would be no problem for a group of adults. All in all a great place to stay!

Comfortable accommodation in a quiet location

A quiet location about 20 mins drive from the main entrance to Pitlivici National Park. The hotel is very nice and the staff very helpful. Dinner is around €50-60 per person with a drink and breakfast €20. The one downside was that the bedroom doors don't provide soundproofing and you hear anyone going by on the corridor.

Idyllic location near Plitvice Fall which is perfect for those looking to go to the national Park (hotel is very close to 3rd entrance which is quieter than the other 2). The rooms are decently sized and modern, and is supported by ample parking. There is a restaurant conveniently located at the bottom of the hotel serving delicious dinner and breakfast too! The hotel staff were amazingly helpful and gave us the perfect route / day plan for the national park. All in all, the perfect hotel for those looking to do a day or two at the national park.

A beautiful place to stay right near one of the entrances to Plitvice. The room was very clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the AC in the room worked great. The owner gave us perfect instructions for visiting Plitvice National Park. The only thing to be cautious of - it is not like a regular hotel in that there are specific check in and check out times, and the restaurant does not take credit cards for payment. We haven’t stayed at a place like this before so that caught us off guard a little, but it is more than workable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay near Plitvice.

Great location for access to Entrance3

Excellent location to 3rd entrance to Plitvice. No need to pay park at Entrance 1 or 2. Must have ticket in advance to go through gate. Helpful staff for touring park-beautiful park and reason we traveled to Croatia. Nice big room, hated the shower stall as had to fight the corner double doors to enter/exit shower and leaked water everywhere. Clean, easy free parking. Terrible at responsiveness to emails/contact through hotels.com App. App indicated B & B so thought breakfast was included like every other boutique or hotel stay during our 3 week Croatia stay. Dining room is separate from hotel stay (different owners?) & OK breakfast compared to other hotels. $20 Euro/pp/day & ONLY take cash. Restaurant does have dinner option (3 course for $35 - 47 Euro/pp). Very limited restaurant options around Plitvice - surprised, be prepared. Would stay again but wish we understood the dining arrangements before stay.
