A secluded waterfront escape on Nova Scotia`s Eastern Shore — 45 minutes from Halifax but a world away. Ostrea Lake sits right on the water, with sweeping views and a sunroom made for slow mornings. Explore the shoreline, unwind in the private outdoor sauna, or fire up the propane BBQ lakeside. Inside, a heat pump and propane stove keep things cozy, and the main floor is easy to navigate with no stairs to the front door.
We will enforce a $500 fine if you smoke anywhere indoors. This also applies to marijuana.
Checkout is at 10AM to allow adequate time for cleaning. For a late checkout, we require 24-hour notice, and a fee of $25/hour fee as well as subject to availability.
Guest misusing the property for parties, event, causing disturbances, or damaging the property will be fined $500.
There is a $100 charge for unauthorized guests on the property. These are guests outside of the reservation.

We had a marvellous, relaxing low key vacation. The spot is quiet, relatively secluded and luxurious.Lots of nature and little distractions.
