North Hills Home, Hot Tub and Fire Pit

Christmas in the North Hills: a lit tree inside, the hot tub and gas fire pit out back, and a playroom ready for the new toys. Christmas week and New Year's Eve are open.

Sleeps 7 in 4 bedrooms: a king, two rooms with full beds, and a room with a twin and a travel crib. Whole house in Ross Township with 1.5 baths, a kitchen with a table for six plus two at the breakfast bar, an espresso machine, a basement playroom with a kids'-size pool table, a high chair, toys and ride-ons, laundry, a covered deck under a pergola, free driveway parking and a 240-volt EV charger. Dogs are considered. Stadiums and downtown are 16 to 18 minutes.

The space
The living room is built for slow evenings: a big sectional, a TV over the stone fireplace (decorative, not in use), a bookcase full of books and a reading nook with two armchairs by the window. Just off it, a bright room holds an upright piano. The kitchen has white cabinets, butcher-block counters, an electric range, a dishwasher and a side-by-side fridge, and the table seats six with two more at the breakfast bar. Coffee comes from the espresso machine or the Keurig. The primary bedroom has a king bed and its own half bath. Two bedrooms have full beds and corner windows, and the fourth has a twin and a travel crib. The one full bathroom has a tub and shower. Downstairs, the playroom has a kids'-size pool table and a TV, next to an exercise bike, a treadmill and the laundry.

The neighborhood
Ross Township is a quiet residential part of the North Hills, and a car is the easy way to get around. North Park, with its lake, trails and boathouse, is 16 minutes away for a morning outside. Ross Park Mall is 7 minutes and UPMC Passavant 8. Heading into the city, PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium, PPG Paints Arena and downtown are 16 to 18 minutes. Hockey families headed to the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry have a 21-minute drive, and Pittsburgh International Airport is 34 minutes. Back at the house there's plenty of free parking in the driveway, and the Level 2 EV charger on the garage wall keeps its cable at the house for guests.
