NOT HAPPY
Photos of the rooms were accurate, and clean but it's not as great as they make it seem. We had several bugs (not sure if they were crickets or spiders) and dead gnats on the bathroom ceiling. Air vent in the hall is full of dirt and needs cleaned. No curtain or blind on the front door leading into the property. Washer and dryer in the basement which is atrocious, and I would not do laundry. Debris in the corner by the furnace with insulation exposed and it looks like something was eating it and trash on the floor. You have to reach under the kitchen sink to plug the garbage disposal, there is no switch. There is some parking which you can only utilize if you have a permit. I paid the parking fee which I was not aware that it did not guarantee me a spot in front or near the property. The street where the property is located is free parking, but it’s first come first serve so the paid parking is not even in front of the property. I made the owner aware of that and she refunded my money. I told her that my husband had mobility issues, and we needed parking close to the property. If she would have told me that we were not guaranteed parking, we would have not stayed there. We told her Roku was not working and didn't get resolved until the last night of our stay. Several communications with owner re issues.

Hidden Gem!
Our short visit was excellent! We were steps away from the Grand Overview and cable cars. There were great restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. The host was very kind, she checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was a great experience!

Great, Convenient Place to stay
We were in Pittsburgh for Pitt's graduation. We were so lucky that we rented this place. Having 2 very spacious bedrooms was the best. The entire place was incredibly clean!
Our favorite was sitting on the front porch just relaxing. AND we managed to park both of our cars directly in front of the property.
We will definitely rent again.

Weekend Stay for a dance compeition
We had a dance competition downtown Pittsburgh and the hotel prices were astronomical. My daughters and I shared this space with a friend and her daughter for the weekend. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was a huge bonus. Communication was fantastic and entry was super easy.

We gambled and won on this new listing
We all tend to shy away from new listings, but this one looked good and I decided to take a chance. I didn't appreciate when I booked what a great location this is---just a few houses down from the top of Mt. Washington overlooking downtown, and close walking distance to the Monongahlea Incline and the Shiloh Street shops/restaurants. A lot of the area was built in the late 1800s. There are some cobblestone streets around. The property is in an old house---I don't know if it's as old as some of the buildings on which there are dates. The apartment occupies part of the house (an end, with windows), and is newly remodeled. The host, Saranyaa, put a lot of detail into the remodel and includes some nice extras such as artwork, iron/ironing-board, kid's high chair and porta crib, tupperware, and so on. We cooked a fair amount and found the kitchen well stocked. Saranyaa is clearly committed to providing a quality guest experience. There's a great take-out pizzeria (Joe Cestone's) within about a 2 minute walk, which we made good use of, and a Rite-Aid across the street from that. Parking in that entire area is all on the street, and was less of an issue than I feared. The streets are narrow and the curbs are low, so people park half way onto the sidewalk. There are no parking meters. Pretty much anything goes so long as you don't block anyone's driveway (of which there are a few). We were able to find close parking spots each time we looked. Twas a great time.
