A wonderful lake rental!

This property was fantastic. My parents have a place on the lake but it is too small for my family to stay at. This is the first year we have rented a spot on the lake, and it exceeded our expectations. The house was so much bigger than it looked in pictures. It was spotless and had everything you could need (including salt and pepper, coffee, and laundry detergent). The beds were very comfortable and the towels were soft. Communication with the hosts was easy. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake. The house was very clean and stylish. The host was extremely easy to communicate with and kept us informed about necessary things. She let us know about the neighbor dogs being friendly which was important because we had our dog with us. We will definitely stay here again!

Serene Lake Home was exactly what the name implies. The setting was absolutely gorgeous! Walking down to the lake was so refreshing. The house was fantastic. Easy check-in, very clean, better than advertised. All rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Especially liked the lake views from the many windows in the back of the house and the hot tub! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!

Perfect for our trip

Probably was in a great location for our trip. Beautiful scenery, very clean. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Property owners were extremely helpful and responsive to questions. Is definitely one of the best experiences I've had on VRBO. Will be booking again.

Best weekend ever!

I had a great time with my friends in this cabin! We love spending weekends throughout the summer at the lake. This is our second time staying at Fort Scott. This cabin was an insane upgrade from the cabin we stayed at last year! It was SO CLEAN, and BEAUTIFUL!

Return Renters

This was our second stay. We travel for Christmas and we love to be able to visit family and still have space of our own. Being able to bring our furbabies with us is huge. The beautiful lake view is a bonus! We'll see you next Christmas time!
