Little Mountain Lodge | 3 Bed, 3 Bath

Welcome to Little Mountain Lodge, a 3 bedroom/3 bath custom built log home with massive long range mountain views!  Located less than 3 miles from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, this home is also ideally situated for convenient access to Downtown Brevard, Dupont State Forest, and Asheville.  Upon arrival at Little Mountain Lodge guests are greeted by a paved driveway and covered parking for 2 cars, plus parking space for 2 additional cars.

The main entrance to Little Mountain Lodge leads into the open concept living area.  A cozy sectional sofa and additional chair are nestled around the stone fireplace with gas logs.  A full wall of windows allows guests to enjoy stunning long range mountain views from anywhere in the living area!  A farm-style dining table provides seating for 8 guests.  The kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and has been thoughtfully stocked with all the dishes and cookware needed during your stay.

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the main floor of Little Mountain Lodge.  The primary bedroom is home to a king-sized bed and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with dual sinks, a walk in shower with dual shower heads, and a large whirlpool bathtub for post-hiking soaks.  The second bedroom on the main level enjoys a queen-sized bed and easy access to the full bathroom on the hallway.

As you travel upstairs, the open loft area is full of windows and cozy seating.  The third bedroom and third full bathroom are also located upstairs.  With one queen-sized bed, two twin-sized beds, and a day bed, the third bedroom accommodates 4 guests comfortably. A round table with seating for 4, perfect for games and puzzles, is also located in the upstairs bedroom.

The outdoor spaces at Little Mountain Lodge are truly hard to beat.  The screened in porch is located just off the kitchen and boasts a dining table for 4 as well as comfortable seating for 4.  String lights create the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and soaking up the views.  The open deck, located just off the kitchen and dining area, is home to the gas grill and a picnic table.  After your cookout, you can visit around the fire pit and roast s'mores without leaving the comfort of your vacation home!

Perfect!!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful; well stocked with plenty of utensils, dishes...way more than normal. The property is secluded and perfect place for solitude while being close to Brevard. Amazing view from back porch. Fantastic experience.

Week in the Mountains

My wife and I have been renting properties for short trips to Bravard NC for several years, this is one if not the best proerty we have stayed at. It is only a 5 min drive to Bravard, and only 15 to south Asheville. The home sets close to the top of the mountain so you have long range views of the mountains, which faces south. This is important to me as I can watch the sun rise over the mountains with mo morning coffee. The home was very clean and well maintained and actually had matching kitchen ware. Seems like a small deal but so many time I have had a rental where it looks like a yard sale exploded in the home, the decoration ect of this home where very tastfule and well placed. Over one of the best homes I have rented and plan to rent future years.

Comfortable mountain retreat

The Little Mountain Lodge is a beautiful log house, with a large open living room and spacious bedrooms with lots of storage, a well equiped kitchen and excellent bathroom facilities. We enjoyed the screened porch in the mornings while having breakfast. We were attending the wedding of our daughter in Asheville and spent a few days after the wedding staying at the lodge. Our relatives from Europe, who were with us, very much enjoyed the "bear" theme throughout the property. With the instructions provided, the house was easy to find, although the access to Elise Drive was a little difficult to navigate from the busy highway, especially coming from Brevard. We liked the video instructions that made it easy to operate the lock and heating system. We had a comfortable and very enjoyable stay at the Little Mountain Lodge, that was conducive to long conversations and strengthening family ties.

Perfect Getaway

This cabin was perfect. The kitchen was clean and was stocked with essential tools for cooking and the bathrooms linens were plentiful. Great downtown shopping. Many waterfalls were close for hiking. The sunset views from the cabin were amazing. Don’t miss out on this gem. No issues with getting up the hill to the cabin in our rental as previously mentioned in other reviews. We highly recommend this cabin for your mountain getaway. Hope to return here again soon.

Perfect

This was a family getaway. Some from Florida and others from New York. The cabin was conveniently located yet peacefully secluded on top of mountain. The cabin seemed quit new and stocked with essentials down to some spices and even a first aide kit. Just beautifully decorated and homey. The only situation we had was with the ice maker which was addressed immediately. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and courteous. Could have not asked for more. Highly recommended.

Great Views and Location

We had a great Fall stay at Little Mountain Lodge. The views off the back porch are stunning. The location is amazing. Quick to a main thoroughfare yet you feel completely secluded when you get to the house. Beds were comfortable, fireplace was easy to use, and especially loved the gas cooktop as we prepared most meals at the cabin. The decor was inviting and made us feel right at home. 10 minutes to Oskar Blues and less than 15 to Sierra Nevada. We will be back.

It was the perfect private and scenic setting for our small family togetherness (my husband and I, daughter, son-in-law, and two little granddaughters).
