My girlfriend and I enjoy three days weekend, even its a hotel for families and groups we really enjoy the quiet and comfort of the place. Spectacular location at the Paracas bay, early walks on the beach up to the birds sanctuary (Flamingos and Pariguanas) its a must, enjoying the sunset another one. A sushi and drink at night on the pier's bar a nice way to close the day. Te staff and people are very very friendly and hey take care about you and what you could need. The scenery its amazing, the rooms very well suited and confortable, Two things to improve: To loud music everywhere, there is no need need of hi music in a place like that? anyhow when you ask them to bring it down at the restaurants and bars they do it. The other thing is: Bread, please do something about that.
We stayed at Hotel Paracas for three nights. It is a really nice hotel, everything is new, the design in white and blue is beautiful. Food offered is really nice. Pool landscape is good. The place is very spectecular. However, when we were there, there were just families with small children. Even though there is a separate pool for children, both pools were used and it was really loud and noisy. Not relaxation at all. Furthermore, there were no loungers available if you came after 9 am. Everything was taken and reserved for the whole day. So it is a real nice hotel, but definetely not for couples (unfortunately).
Lovely ambience with real nice suites, pool, bar, and sea amenities. Just one thing to be improved, a sea network to keep away algae’s in the beach... However, gorgeous meal and real kind service. Congrats Peru!!!!
This was the fifth time I been to this hotel and it`s a pleasure to see they keep the same service quality level. Everything was working as expected inside the bedroom. The breakfast has additional healthy food options, Explorer club for kids have some new activities as well. We went for a ride with bicycles and we could see they have new models, the swimming pools also have the same quality. The staff is always available to support you with all your needs.
Spent 1 night here as part of Gate 1 Peru tour. Oh how we wished it was more!!! This place is perfect!! We had a beautiful ground floor suite with ocean view. Huge glass shower - I mean HUGE!! Fabulous deep tub, double sinks, and seperate toilet and bidet stall. The bed was huge and perfect. Lovely couch and great TV . We had breakfast on our private outdoor veranda , delivered by bicycle and set up just for us. Ocean view, fabulous food- all exactly as ordered and right on time! This place is a dream. The pool looked fab and the lounge and drinks were perfect. We walked the beach to shops and restaurants and went out the pier to the Sushi Restaurant but one can only eat so much so unfortunately could not try the food. Go to this resort if you possibly can, it is perfection!!
You cannot go wrong with this property. Let me start out by saying there is no odor in the rooms. The hotel is immaculate and the staff is warm and friendly. I would come back here anytime. It’s only a short 3 hour drive from Lima and its mostly highway driving. Once you get to the hotel you feel like you have arrived at a clean 5 star resort. It’s ocean front and the grounds are manicured & very well maintained. Everyone was pretty much bilingual so that’s a plus. The resort is family friendly, we brought our 6 month old and couldn’t ask for more. We had a king suite (room 361) and it was luxurious. The pools and lounges are great. The staff is extremely attentive. The food was delicious & the double PISCO sours were incredible. We took long walks along the ocean front and admired all the pretty houses adjacent to Hotel Paracas. I cannot wait to return. Thank you to everyone who made our 3 day 2 night trip a memorable one.
The hotel is new , very well decorated ocean front , and excellent food. very good buffet breakfast , and service is very good too. the only thing was that a weird rotten algae smell on the room. an odorizer should be install on the rooms to prevent it.
My girlfriend and I were visiting Paracas for the day en route to Huachachina. We stopped into the hotel having read great things about it. We were too early for lunch however the staff were very accommodating and kindly let us hang out by the pool and even arranged for the chef to make us lunch an hour early. We absolutely loved what was served - gluten free dough balls and vegan quinoa and kale patties and fresh avocado and quinoa salad. Beautifully presented and enjoyed with a lovely view! Thank you to the staff and chef! We would love to get the recipe for those dough balls...?!
The Hotel Paracas Luxury Collection is a 5 star hotel with beautiful pool sides, a more than luxurious and large bath room and great beds with very soft blankets and lots of pillows. The hotel has two different pool areas (family pool & main pool) - at the main pool there is no shadow (no umbrellas at the poolside) and the hotel charges at weekends USD 60 (!) to use the private cabanas with a roof. They have two different restaurants (a trattoria and a dinner restaurant) - both are very expensive but provide excellent quality. The breakfast is really 5 star and provides everything you wish for (freshly squeezed juices, all kind of eggs, french bread, even gluten free staff, swiss cheese, pancakes, lots of fruits etc etc). Even though it is a five star hotel the staff however barely speaks English and work very slowly (you wait up to 15 minutes at the pool to get a still water), especially the women at the Venturian desk which does not belong to the hotel but organize potential tours such as Islas Ballestras, desert etc are absolutely unfriendly and the requested prices are totally insane e.g. we wanted to book a tour in the desert with a picnic which would have been 579 USD per person (!) as there were only the two of us interested in this tour. Compared to other tours in Peru this is very expensive. The worst about the hotel is the smell from the alges from the seaside - lots of seagrass is at the coast which smells more than horrible. Depending on the direction of the winds - the whole hotel area smells like a big toilette. However as everything in the hotel is more than clean e.g. you see people cleaning the hotel all the time we do not know if this might be due to nature protection that the hotel staff is not allowed to take away the seagrass from the coast. Although we complained about the smell the hotel staff was not bothered. Try not to go during the weekend because the hotel is really good booked and more expensive!
We loved this hotel! We hung out in the pool drinking delicious cocktails, had a couple of very nice dinners and arranged both a boat ride to the islands to see the seals, penguins and migrating birds. We also booked the sand buggy ride and sand surfing which we loved! A very good hotel, with beautiful sea views under an equatorial sun! Recommended!
