A average hotel with reasonable staff, breakfast is also an average. Rooms are clean and toilet is also okay. Fine for short stay, a night or two maximum, we stayed for a night only. Out side good parking space, however no good views.
This review is on behalf of my parents who are, unfortunately, not on TripAdvisor. They were a part of an Indian tour group, consisting of senior citizens, and had a night at this horrible place. The exact words my mother said were “we were treated as dirt”. This is unacceptable and no words will suffice to express my outrage at the shabby way my parents were treated. Stale pieces of bread, no egg, cold porridge for breakfast, they were made to carry their luggage all around the hotel, after a very tiring day of sightseeing, due to the room mismanagement by the hotel team. This is not the kind of treatment that should be meted out to old and tired customers anywhere. Terrible!
Arrived late afternoon after a long drive. Friendly receptionist, luckily got checked in before a coachload Arrived! Food fine nothing special. Room good, as expected for what we had booked. It's on a motorway, easy access to lots of places, well sound proofed, didn't hear a car all night. Our booking said we had breakfast included which was reiterated by the receptionist on arrival but in the morning different receptionist said it wasn't included! So paid again. Booked with hotel.com It wasn't expensive though only €5 per head but principal and all that!! Hotel cost about £75 for the night.
Hotel manager was simply terrible, our reservation was prepaid and when we come to chek out they tried to charge us local taxes, I asked to show me where it is written in the order that tax is not included, but instead of answering me or showing the reservation a hotel manager instead of helping us started to scrim some thig in Italian and threatenead to order police. I have never received such a bad treatment anywhere in the world. He just could be far away from cutomer service!!!! Dont order this hotel
The leaning tower of Pisa is on all tourists guides for visiting western Italy. It is more magnificent when one close up than seen on postcard photos. The detailed sculpturing is historical and classic.
What a dilemma Pisa can be. If you stay in town, the hotels are shocking and costly. This hotel I am reviewing now is part of a chain. One of their central Pisa locations should be avoided at all cost for reasons detailed in another review. However, this hotel in the chain was very good, but the location is seriously problematic. It is 18 km from Pisa, and is also about 15 km from the airport. It's on a four-lane highway, by an abandoned gas station, and backs onto empty fields. It is a road stop for people travelling, I would guess. We used it for one night because we had to. It would not be my choice in the future. Having said that, the rooms were very comfortable. Not huge, but well appointed. The windows opened. The TV and the heating worked. The bedding was good. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good. And a 15 euro bottle of Italian red was as good as you'll get anywhere in the wine world. So what a dilemma. Stay in Pisa for the ambience in a rubbish hotel. Stay by the highway in a good hotel. It's up to you, really, depending on what you need and want, and whether you have car. Because this location demands a car. I'm just setting out the pros and cons. That's what TripAdvisor is for, right? I would like to thank the staff for being very helpful and accommodating during our time there.
Our easyJet flight was cancelled very late one evening and we were brought by coach to this hotel. The staff were magnificent in providing us with a room at 1am in the morning and offered whatever help was needed. The hotel was comfortable and even though it was close to the motorway was very quiet. The manager didn't even charge us for meals or accommodation and sent the bills to easyJet. Many thanks to all the hotel staff for making our enforced 2 night stay enjoyable.
Our flight home was cancelled and the airline provided accommodation at this hotel which is not the nearest hotel to the airport. It is close to the fi-pi-li highway with no public transport connections to the city centre. The only mode of transport is a taxi at 50 euros one way! The rooms are small, had a stale odour of cigarette smoke, a/c was ok. Breakfast was adequate. Claims to be a 4 star hotel without the facilities of a 4 star! As it was very late at night, any hotel was better than staying at the airport until the next flight which happened to be 2 days later! We checked out the following morning to a city centre hotel which happened to be very close to the hotel with 4 star facilities. This hotel seems to be used by airlines to put up their stranded passengers. Would never be a hotel of choice.
Hotel was not too far from Pisa Central and along the highway, the room was clean and well kept with great housekeeping service. Enjoyed a very good wine and great food from the restaurant and breakfast was magnificent. Only two problem is that its along the highway and no bus service to get around and coming back from the concert (it felt very far) i went to, plus they need to upgrade their gym equipement . all staff was very friendly and happy to assist at all time.
20 minute taxi ride from pisa airport Clean and friendly with some excellent staff.Breakfast was very good typically Italian (but then you are in Italy) Pisa doesn't have a lot going for it except the obvious Tower Inn is only 150 yards from Miracle square, the site of the leaning tower and cathedral thus making the hotel very convienient
