Great location, awesome staff

Our family stayed here, and it was great. Staff (owner?) was extremely helpful. Beautiful window views, nice roof top hangout area, and close to a grocery store and bus stop. Thats all we needed! The street in front of the hotel closes every night (summertime) and there were many gelato shops and restaurants to choose from. Highly recommended.

This is not a 'fancy' location. However, the rooms are clean and the views are lovely. The breakfast was lovely. It's location allowed us to hear the water, take advantage of 'happy hour' down the street, walk along a path by the beeach and visit lovely eateries down the street.

Must stay, you’ll love it!

Wonderfully warm family operated hotel with charm & graciousness. Restaurant lured me to breakfast with the aroma of good cookin. Superb location next to the beach promenade. The water beckoned me in, but I drive off to see the infamous sites in the center of Pisa. Fabulous place to stay, lovely town by the sea & a comfy room to boot!

Very Helpful Staff - excellent Location

Towels changed every day and hotel very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. The location is ideal to escape the bustle of Pisa but within a bus ride. Bus stop very close to hotel.

Great seaside hotel

We were there for an overnight stop. Location was wonderful right on the water. Host was gracious and met all of our request. Also very helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. Breakfast was nice with a selection of cold options. We did not inquire about hot options so we do not know if that is available. Room was clean overall but the floor felt dirty and sticky. Nice rooftop terrace with great view of sunset and the water.

wonderful View

A lovely little Hotel overlooking the sea. The view was by far the best thing about this Hotel. The Beach is a rock/pebble beach with a natural pool which is delightful to swim in. The Hotel was very basic and very dated but the room was very clean and very comfortable. The staff didn't have much to say ( except for the chamber maid who was lovely) I must say though, that The breakfast was appalling. ( bread rolls and Jam) we were very disappointed. The Hotel had a lovely roof terrace that overlooked the sea. WI-FI was poor in the room but OK in reception. Plenty of lovely restaurants very near by and not far from town and leaning Tower etc.

Hotel Manzi

Re: Hotel Manzi Hotel Manzi is a quaint, family operated, low rise hotel on the banks of the Mediterranean Sea. It is separated from the sea by a narrow road and a pedestrian walk way. Some of the rooms overlook the sea and it feels like you are right on the water's edge. The hotel is a short distance from the new marina located at the entrance to the River Arno, and walking distance to all amenities in town including caffes and restaurants. Service is adequate, the hotel and room very clean and breakfast was fresh and varied. The hotel was modestly priced and great value for the money.

Highly recommended for a few nights stay. The Sunday street market was brilliant, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. would go again. Lovely weather and worth paying extra for the sea view.

Manzi

We had a wonderful stay at the Manzi Hotel. It is located right at the sea, although it is hard to access an appropriate beach to go swimming (there is no sand beach). There is a nice bus connection to the center of Pisa, the station Marina di Pisa is about 5 min away by foot. The ride takes about 15 min and is 1,50 Euro. You can also do Lucca or even Firenze from Pisa station by train. So I think its better to stay at the ocean instead of a city center. The service at the hotel was very good, they were helpful to show us all the connections to Pisa, Lucca and Firenze. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

GREAT HOTEL - Perfect Location, super friendly staff...

Only got to stay here at the Manzi one night on our way up the coast of Italy to France (on route to Cannes from Rome). The Drive was beautiful on our way to the Pisa marina area. Had no problems finding the hotel. The lady running the front desk was super friendly and spoke english very well. She gave me a map of the area and directed us to the leaning tower etc in town. The room was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable and a great value for being literally right across the street from the water. Was up early and back on road but had breaky there at hotel. Forgot it was included so it was a very nice bonus. Pisa may not be a destination for a lot of tourists but if you're looking for somewhere to bunk up for a couple nights and check out the beautiful sunsets and great seafood I would definitely say stay here.

We used this hotel for a one night stopover. we found everyone polite and helpful, room spacious and clean, breakfast excellent. The only concern was parking, there is limited hotel parking which needs booking this does not show on the booking form.

Excellent Location

Solid 3-star hotel in an excellent location across from the ocean. We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. The style is old, but the rooms are very clean and spotless. Had problem with the toilet when we first moved in, but it was fixed immediately. Bed was very comfortable. Good continental breakfast that comes with the room; good view of the ocean thru the windows. A few good restaurants in the area, but the best are in Tirranea--drive along the beach for about 5 minutes to get there.
