My husband and I stayed for a week in early June and we really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were exactly as shown online. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are good sized. The kitchen and living room are spacious. The pool is large, glorious, and exactly what was needed after hot days exploring the region. There are lounge chairs, and a covered space with cushioned chairs for those seeking some shade. The pool is clean and in good repair. There are three accommodations on the property, all adjoined (similar to townhouses but in an old stone building that has been completely renovated). Each has an outside sitting space, with a table and chairs under an awning and a separate space in the sun with cushioned chairs for sun-seekers. The outdoor spaces for each rental are separated by a flowering hedge, so there’s still privacy. Veronique is your host and she is wonderful — friendly, responsive, and full of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the area. We’ve been renting from VRBO for years, and her guest information book is the best we’ve seen. The accommodations are a short drive from Piolenc, a small town with a grocery store, excellent bakeries (we recommend Caractere), and a number of restaurants. It’s a great location from which to visit many of the sights Provence has to offer. This property would be good for one or two couples, or for a family with younger children (second bedroom has two twins).
