Fantastic Weekend Getaway in the Mountains of North Carolina

This past weekend we stayed art this incredible property overlooking the mountains near Pinnacle, NC. It was the perfect spot to stay that was close to the Vineyard we were attending a wedding at. Ideal for families and friends looking for a great place to spread out and have a relaxing view all weekend. Two things to note. The Upstairs bedrooms were lacking in closet space and space to hang up clothes. Additionally, the listing was not super specific regarding the "kids" room with the 4 twin beds being attached to the Queen bedroom where you had to go through the Queen bedroom to access the other room. Would happily stay at this property again in the future!

Quiet weekend

We enjoyed our short stay in this beautiful home! We loved every bit of it! Saturday was spent at a football game, Sunday was all about hiking, polar plunge, and cards on the back deck!

Stunning house with even better view!

This house is GORGEOUS! The road leading to it was pretty steep, but the directions given got us there no problem. Only contacted the owner once to change the temp in the house, and someone came by the next morning to change it for us! I didn’t contact them until late at night, I’m sure they would have been there as soon as I asked otherwise. The pool is so much bigger than we thought, and the pool deck/porch was perfect. The whole property was beyond our expectations. We also appreciated the farm fresh eggs in the fridge very much. Will be recommending this property to anyone who listens. We’re already talking about coming back next year!

Great Family Getaway close to Winston Salem

We had a wonderful family stay when we attended our daughter's graduation from Wake Forest. Beautiful accommodation and the pool was a fun plus. Drive to campus was worth staying at such a unique and picturesque home in the foothills.

Beautiful mountain get-away

This is a lovey house with wonderful outdoor space. We loved the pool and the views. It was perfectly located for a few days exploring Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock State Parks. I have this house on my list for future visits.

Family Get Away

Just finished a multi-generational weeklong vacation in a home with beautiful mountain and forest views. The huge pool with all kinds of lounging and grilling areas was a huge hit with all. After a morning of hiking Pilot Mt., the close by city of King afforded a variety of eateries to dine in or take home. Loved our stay in a beautifully upscale decorated home.

Yes!

The property is on top of a hill with stunning views. Property manager is very responsive and nice. The house is well decorated and the top-tier appliances are so fun to use. We took the family for a July vacation. Kayaked with Dan River Company one day and hiked the waterfalls at Hanging Rock the next day. Spent the evening grilling, swimming and watching the sun set from the porch. Take a telescope!

Family wedding

This property was amazing!!! We made great use of the pool. The house is super updated and we loved all the outdoor seating. Front porch is amazing in the evening. Kitchen had an abundance of supplies for cooking and preparing meals. Some places don’t live up to the pictures online, this one surpassed the pictures. I can’t say enough. We had family in from three different states and we had a great time.

Bridal Weekend

Wonderful! Spectacular! Gorgeous! I cannot say enough about this house. It looks like a model home out of a magazine inside and out!!! Breathtaking views, spacious places to socialize inside and out, made this home the perfect place to get ready for my daughters wedding. The hosts were delightful. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view, but I personally wouldn't recommend this property based on my experience

Here is some information that might be helpful if you are considering this property: - The view is incredible, and there is a ton of outdoor seating. - We enjoyed the large master bathroom with a claw tub. - It was nice to have fresh eggs and to visit the chickens in the coop. Here are the not-so-good things: - The kitchen was confusing to navigate; clearly labeled and organized items would be helpful. - There is a small house directly next to this one, and it has a resident(s). I believe this is the property manager. If you are a private person, I wouldn't recommend this property. You are also very close to the neighbors so that you will hear other people/sounds/mowing, etc. - We could find no trashcans in the house, outside of one in the kitchen. - We could not get rid of hornets on the deck during our stay. My mother was stung during dinner, and it was very painful. :/ - The design style needed to be updated at this price point. Some decorative items were tacky, which distracted us from our overall stay.

Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful property, very relaxing, and the property manager was very responsive to our questions during our stay. We would definitely stay there again. The location/scenery is spectacular, but you would want to make sure that whatever vehicle you have is capable of making it up a steeper incline...lol. You are up high on a hill. Worth it!

Great location and beautiful home and property!

The pictures don’t do it justice. This place is absolutely stunning with top tier appliances, furniture, and amenities throughout. It’s located on the top of a mountain with gorgeous views and tons of outdoor living space. The owners were very nice and hospitable, and have a relative who lives nearby who can help if needed. My only complaint about this place, is that it didn’t have utensils/knives. We prepped all of our food in house—and I’m still drooling over the kitchen appliances—but we had to improvise on knives/forks/spoons. Looking forward to coming back here again soon!

Wonderful stay!

Amazing views and great place!

The house is situated in such a beautiful spot that we enjoyed every moment. The front and back porch have a great view that my family couldn't stop taking photos of. We was able to watch the local July 4th King fireworks from the front porch. The house was very accommodating even for my large family. There was plenty to do for us with exploring local trails/mountains, swimming, and even cruising over to check out a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was very responsive and extremely friendly. Great house, people, location!!

Graduation Celebration in God’s Country

This breathtaking home was the perfect place for my family and I as we came together for my son’s graduation from UNCSA in Winston Salem, NC. We loved the deck on the back where people had the option to relax there or poolside as we grilled. The kitchen is gorgeous and stocked with all the appliances you may need. The fresh eggs were the perfect touch for breakfast the next morning. Thank you. The perfect oasis….just what we were looking for. The sunset and sunrise should not be missed. This is God’s country! Thank you for sharing your home. We loved it and my son had the best time. Priceless memories.
