Trailheads Steps Away + Stunning Views!
Faraway Lodge is the perfect cabin for multi-generational family gatherings. On the main floor, there are 3 roomy bedrooms/2 bathrooms, 2 large living rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and walk out to wrap-around decks. There is a 4th bedroom that is a king suite on the upper level. There are two driveways with lots of parking, and the upper one does not require stairs to get into the house.
Love hiking and going for walks? Follow the path below the deck to two trailheads. Lots of info about hiking is in the digital guidebook, which you`ll receive as soon as you book.
You’ll love the views while you are grilling on the large propane grill, relaxing on the deck, or enjoying your morning coffee with the sunrise.
This cabin is a dream!
This 2900 sf log cabin is situated in the back of a 2-acre wooded lot adjacent to Tonto National Forest. You`ll feel like you are in the woods, but Pine restaurants and shops are only 1.5 miles away. It`s quiet and secluded and has views for miles.
The cabin has 4 bedrooms, 3 of them with king beds, one with two doubles, 2 full bathrooms and 1 with a walk-in shower. There are two lofts with twin beds, as well.
The front living room has a chalet window looking out at forest and mountain views, with access to the deck. A pellet stove keeps you warm in the winter with a cozy flame to add glow to the room.
The living room flows into a dining room with a table that seats 10, plus 3 barstools at the kitchen bar. The remodeled kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare fabulous meals, including small appliances such as a crockpot, waffle maker (the flip kind you find in hotel breakfast rooms), a blender, coffeemaker, wafflemaker, toaster, griddle, hand mixer, and more.
There is a spacious living room in the back of the main floor that also has a large chalet window looking out to Tonto National Forest with no houses or buildings in sight. This room has a large TV, games, ping pong, and children`s toys. Climb a ladder to the loft above with a twin beds on the floor. Kids love it!
The Primary bedroom is upstairs, and has a king bed, a smart TV, and ensuite bathroom. It opens to a private covered deck attached with comfortable furniture, heater, and even a twin bed with mosquito netting for a nice afternoon nap when the monsoons roll in. The loft has a very comfortable queen sofa bed and a chair/ottoman for relaxing with a book.
This is a special place to create memories and get the relaxation you crave.
You`ll have access to all areas of the house and lot except the garage, which is locked.
Important: After you complete your reservation, you will receive a message from a company called Truvi, formally called Superhog. I use them to verify identity to fulfill requirements by the county. Once you are verified, you will be covered for up to $500 in accidental damage (pet damage excluded). So be sure to let me know as soon as something is broken! It won`t cost you anything. If it`s more than $500, you may also be covered, so don`t hesitate in telling me about it.
Once you book, you will receive our digital guest guidebook app that you can add to your phone screen. It has lots of info about the cabin, including amenities, instructions, wifi, safety and rules, communication with the host. You`ll also find an entire Local Area Attractions section, so you`ll know where to eat, the best hikes, shopping, and day trips.
Note about cancellations. If you cancel and are awarded a full refund, you will still be responsible for the 3% payment processing fee.
You are free to contact your host, Debbie, for anything that you can`t find in the guidebook.
1. I`m ok with vaping outside away from open windows, but no cigarettes. Ever. Check with me about cigars. During dry summer months I will say no to all smoking. Our insurance won`t allow it and you`ll be fined if evidence of smoking is found.
2. No loud parties or amplified music at any time of day.
3. Only the guests who are booked may be at the house. If you want to have visitors, just let me know in advance. There may be an additional fee depending on the conditions. Large parties are not allowed, obviously.
4. You must register with Truvi for verification and accidental damage protection. You will receive an email from them after booking.
5. Please report any damage at the time it happens. You are covered! Either send your host a time-stamped photo or leave the broken item for us to photograph. That`s the last of your involvement. We`ll take it from there.
6. Add pets to your booking and don`t leave them alone in the cabin unless they are crated. Never leave them alone outside, even if tethered. There is a fee for up to two dogs. If you want to bring more than two, please contact host.
