65 acres of Picture perfect old oak, Pine, Apple, Cherry, and Maple trees just to name a few. This is a quiet and private retreat...a beautiful hideaway for nature-lovers, hikers, artists, and bird, deer, Hawk, and turkey watchers or simply those who choose to relax and enjoy quiet time and perhaps star gaze while taking a dip in the spa hot tub. Cafe lights strung about as if they were their own starry sky.

Very large spacious yet cozy home with Luxurious kitchen with island and granite countertops, 2 dining areas, large living room and dining room with massive picture windows to take in the beautiful and private scenery, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, Hot Tub, XL game room with foosball, ping pong, chess board/table, Smart wifi/cable T.V.'S in each bedroom and Big screen smart wifi/cable TV’s in both lounge areas. (6 smart televisions in total)

There is a large back yard deck with gorgeous views of the sunrise and Shawangunk Mountain views behind the home. Relax in one of our many outdoor chairs.

Large beautiful bonfire area surrounded by a circle of tall NY pine trees. 55 acres of secluded country living with a running Creek (Beaver Creek) take a walk and explore.
Plenty of outdoor seating, BBQ grill, and a Texas smoker for those who enjoy slow cooking their meat/food.

EVENTS:
Per our house rules and the required rental agreement you digitally sign upon renting Brech Mountain House, we do NOT allow events.
However, If you desire to rent the space at an hourly rate or for a 24 hour period for an event (baby shower, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, employee appreciation dinner, photo shoot, business meeting, etc) please reach out to me as this is a seperate arrangement.

If you are renting our home as a vacation home but would like to "add on" a family reunion, wedding rehearsal dinner, bridal photo shoot, etc, please reach out to me as we need to approve this accordingly and provide you an updated rental agreement for you to sign.

Master bedroom and bath are on ground level and offer handicap accessibility. ♿

**I provide starter trash liners, toilet paper, and paper towels. Please bring your own laundry detergent due to allergy sensitivities.

There is a small area across the property that hosts a few sheds. This is private property. Do not access. We use these sheds/buildings to store our equipment for maintaining such a large property.
Occasionally, there may be a tiny house on that private area. This space is private and you cannot see the tiny house from the home nor can the tiny house see you.
We occasionally host our daughter & son in law who volunteer worldwide and sometimes locally to assist others. When in NY, they stay in the tiny house.
We have Ring security cameras on the property that do not invade privacy. One is located by the garage door and shows vehicles driving up the road. The 2nd one is on the back deck and it looks out onto the back yard. The cameras are OUTSIDE and only show a small area of OUTSIDE SPACE & do not show a hot tub view. We value your privacy while trying to maintain the homes safety and security. Please inquire with any questions on this matter.

3rd year and counting

This was our third year spending part of spring break at this lovely house. If we can, we'll be back next year. The hosts are responsive but give us ample space. The house is quirky and cozy, with lots of options for activities indoors, walking the property, and enjoying the fire pit and hot tub just outside. We were able to cook meals, grill, and bake and only left to hit the grocery and get local ice cream. I know there are great hikes nearby, but my teens are not hikers -- however they do love being able to wander in the woods by the stream, and being away from the hustle and bustle of NYC life. Always a pleasure!

Perfect getaway in the mountains

This is our 3rd time staying, and like always it’s such a perfect getaway! The house is so beautiful and clean, and is a great spot to unwind. Love the fire pit and the hot tub! Located near wineries, breweries, and more- it’s always a nice time. Damon is really accommodating and a great host. They even left us some fresh eggs from the chickens on site!

The house was a wonderful home and was even larger than we expected. There were so many wonderful activities and the host was thoughtful in what is in the home. The location was perfect and our group was able to do so much in the house when we were not touring nearby Bethel. Pleasure in Paradise!!!

The property and surrounding area was FANTASTIC!!! My family enjoyed not only the inside of the property but the exterior as well. We saw lots of wildlife and heard a tremendous variety of birds. Amazing property!

This house was incredible. Spacious, clean, has everything you need, and is tucked on a hill with big grass lawns and trees. It is quiet and serene. The playroom is great for teens and adults! One of the best rentals we have stayed in for vacation.

Like being at grandmas house!

This place is wonderful. Our group of consisted of 3 families and we had plenty of space. The house feels so homey and the surrounding land and creek were wonderful! The kids roasted marshmallows and caught fireflies almost every evening. The game room was a big hit. Damon was as helpful as could be. We absolutely loved it. If I were looking for a rental in the area, I'd choose this one a million times over.

Amazing home. More than expected. You will not be disappointed. Perfectly nestled on the bottom of the Shawagunk Mountains 15 mins from the town of Pine Bush. Lots to do and see. Beautiful Place

We stayed for my son’s graduation from West Point, which is an hour away. We purposefully stayed a week to enjoy some time. The place was amazing. There is a state park close by that we hiked. We Laos went to the city for a day. It was a great house. There was room for our family of 10. The spa was a big hit. We would come back even though my son has graduated.

How do you describe the best vacation you've ever had!!

From the moment we saw the property, we knew we had made the right decision. It was beautiful inside and out! sweet secluded getaway from NYC

This was our 2nd stay and even better, as this time we explored the woods behind the house where a brook runs back far enough we never found the end or edge of the property. Great hikes less than 20 min drive away, but honestly exploring the woods and stream was about our speed, with teens who are non-experienced hikers. Used the hot tub every night under the stars, built fires and did s'mores multiple times in the fire pit. Large porch with ping pong, foosball, keyboard and movie watching spot gave us plenty to do indoors, too. Well stocked kitchen, lovely views of nature from every window -- for city dwellers vacationing with extended fam, this was perfect.

To keep it relatively brief, this was an impressive house. Size was more than enough for the 7 of us, hot tub was great, kitchen was beyond well equipped, all the tvs were new and huge. The owner was well responsive to any questions, and in 10+ years of using VRBO, this house had the least amount of issues with the most amenities. All 7 of us (4 adults and 3 kids {8-10 y.o.) all had a great time, and we all agreed we'd return, which says it all.

We came back again for yet another wonderful long wknd w family … the house has all you need for a fun wknd . All 12 of us were comfy and had plenty of space to enjoy ! 55 acres to hike, bonfire pit, jacuzzi, ping pong, fooseball , hundreds of board games and some musical instruments to experiment with! New Years family gathering

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the house. The house is located on a quiet peaceful property. House itself is beautiful, clean, well appointed. Kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook all of our meals in comfort. Bedrooms are roomy and bright. We all enjoyed ping-pong tournaments, napping to Bob Ross on the big screen TV and nice views out of the many windows.

Cozy family vacation!

Damon’s house was the perfect getaway for our extended family of 9. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and also to spend time together. We loved the sun room with the keyboard, guitar and other games to play. We also really loved the outdoor area with the fire pit! So close to Wallkill and about an hour away from Warwick. Damon was so kind and the perfect host. We will definitely look to stay here again when we come back to the area!
