I just recently spend my Birthday at the Hotel. I had been there several times for the Day Spa, but not in the last 2 years. First off, the staff was always very friendly and I so much appreciated the upgrade of a room with view to the Lagoon. The room was very lovely, spacious and nicely furnished with a great terrace. The setting of the Hotel is very very beautiful. The Breakfast buffet was very good with enough to choose from. Now I come to the reason, why I did not give my visit 5 stars. As I had been there several times before I was surprised that the Hotel stay did not include all the Spa area, but only a very small part, where there where 2 small saunas, NO steam room and a small Hot tub/Jacuzzi, which honestly was in poor shape and had mold around the edges and the Handrail to get in was almost falling over due to missing screws. Also the warm pool area inside/outside needs some maintenance, likewise ALL the inside lounge chairs had dirty covers and where very outdated. And another comment. They used Styrofoam cups to get your water. Please if you have any consideration for this planet do not use them, as they never recycle. The outside area was fabulous and the lunch by the pool side also very good and abundant. We where lucky to have a perfect day to spend by this pool. Once again we still had a fabulous time and more then critisism I want to give it as constructive feedback

Not In my worst nightmares I had an experience as much as terrible as we had last weekend in Sofitel La Reserva Cardales. They pretend to be a 5 stars hotel but facilities needs maintenance, room smells smoky when we checked in, room floor was dirty, old towels, I lost 25 minutes in check in process when I had already checked in online. But worst part was Food services. We had to wait more than an hour to complete 3 Nuggets with fries order (they came with two and rest one more than hour later!!!!). Of course I claimed 3 times and last time I received a very bad and disrespectful treatment! In the other hand (ironically) we order 2 burgers that came one and a half hour later, worst burger ever (cold dry meet, boiled egg -yes, boiled!-, cold fries, disgusting!) Sincerely a lot to improve to be a 3 star hotel, ups sorry they said 5 (Lol) 😡😡😡😢😢😢

The resort is really beautiful and well maintained. I booked a Suite Prestige (1070 sq ft / 500 usd by night) but with a LedTV 20 inchs with NO HD in the main room ?? The rest of the suite was just ok. But the nigthmare starts with the service. A lot of children full of good intentions and no knowledge to deliver hotel services and I`m talking a 3* hotel ...imagine this pretended 5*. The reception is the worst, where Daniel (a kind of supervisor) stands out for his embarrassment. I used the Bernabe Bar, they forgot a part of my order (two items....a drink and a toasted sandwich...when I claimed for the sandwich so they quickly heated the sandwich in a microwave! ) I also used the restaurant "La Butaca". It was, literally, half empty. When I came in, the receptionist told me I should wait to sit down because there were not enough staff to assist us (...we were three...). I required to sit down but unfortunately the receptionist was right because our dinner took an hour and was poor. Perhaps a good idea is to take the cheapeast room available and enjoy the facilities with no pretention of human or meal services. Perhaps ....just perhaps.

I´ve been there for business meetings. It is far far far from Buenos Aires. Great for business meetings, since there is nothing around, no distractions. Very bad for family outings... after 1 day I would be bored to the bone as a kid. Heat is something that needs to be reviewed, I was there in the winter, and I had to sleep with the patio door open, and there was no way to lower the temperature. Food was very dissaponted , I ordered a Bondiola, and it was one of the worst steaks I´ve had!!! There is a bowling alley where we had a get together with pizza and a couple of beers... I was disgusted to see roaches near the bar area. I left a laundry bag to have my clothes taken care of, and I had to go to the front desk to request the service, since they were left on the room. It is a very expensive place to have such bad service.

We choose this hotel for one night so that we could enjoy some of the countryside around BA and also visit the Estancia Santa Susana which is quite close. Well we were so impressed with our room, our view, and the activities like kayaking. And when our flight was delayed due to a pilots strike, we decided to stay a second night which made our visit most enjoyable. But I have left the best until last, the staff we’re just so friendly and super helpful, and a special mention to Sol who did most of the arrangements for us.

I loved tha area, beautiful gardens, nice pool, big rooms but... Ours seemed to have been made In a rush, the room lacked everything, furthermor, the towels looked as it had been used (see photo). They took an hour to bring what we needed after 3 phone calls. I travel a lot and expect very much for the amount I pay for a stay. This time, this hotel, did not marched what I expected.

We recently had a corporate outing at the Sofitel La Reserva Cardales. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the grounds are beautiful and rooms are very spacious. First the rooms are huge, with a tub, big separate shower with a rain shower head. Bed was a kingsize bed and had all the amenities needed. When traveling overseas it is nice when the bedrooms have Type A plugs. The room had a large patio that you was beautiful to work from. The grounds were well kept and we had dinner one night at the resort. The food was very good and service was spot on. Business or just to relax this was a great place.

Outside 50km from Buenos Aires, beautiful hotel, rooms very spacious, very nice atmosphere, nice restaurant and delicious food. The staff was very nice and helpful. At night the lights in the main hall and at the restaurant transformed the ambiance, lovely, truly beautiful, nice lake, beautiful gardens.

Rooms are really wonderful and spacious, beds are very good too and the bathroom as well. But the food....oh my god. Bad quality and really slow service, in spite of the restaurant being practically empty. I spent here 2 days and the food went from really bad to bad. In the last lunch we ordered a hamburger. It was disgusting and the fries were like pre-cooked, from a package. Absolutely nothing to do with a 5 star hotel.

This is a nice and clean hotel, good for holidays or meetings. there is a spa with swimming pool and lakes outside; very pritty. Rooms on the 3rd floor with view to the lakes are super nice. All rooms have realy much space. I had a luxery room, which actually were two rooms ( one living room, one bedroom and a lage balcony). The bathroom was wow! Whirlpool, two shower options separated tiolet. I loved my room. In case you are not Spanish speeking it is not worth switching on TV. there are about 50 channels, but all in Spanish. Breakfast is nice ; kitchen overall more average. Staff is very caring and friendly. In case you come from the airport you should calculate for an 1,5 to 2 hour ride to the hotel. This is due to heavy traffic. When we were here we did not really realize we are in Argentina as all was so green. The only thing we got it somehow was through the cockies (decicious!) and the tango music already at breakfast. I would come here again.
