Beautiful property

The property was beautiful and had a nice setup. The only downside was the cleanliness. I had to go get stuff to clean the 10 inches of dust on the back of the bed. Didn't want my dog on the carpet upstairs due to many stains, and the curtains were full of dust. With a good cleaning, the place would be perfect!

Spring Break/Rod Run 2025

We found it hard to find a place to stay in Pigeon Forge for spring break since it fell on the same week as Rod Run then I came across Scarlett's Lair. I was excited it was in Pigeon Forge and had everything we were looking for. We really enjoyed our stay and loved it was close to everything but still not in the busy part of town. Was clean and homey and had all the necessities needed for a fun filled weekend. Liked that we could hear Dollywood from our balcony and how close it was to get to Dollywood since we visited there during our stay. Would highly recommend the condo and would stay here again.

Pleasant Stay!!

Overall, it was a great stay. There were a couple of things that need attention but nothing worth not going back over. Positives are the location, communication with owner, 3 bathrooms, fully equipped with everything you can think of. Negatives are it’s somewhat outdated though we could see where improvements are being made. The water pressure when it comes to flushing toilets is low; had to flush at least twice to get paper down. There was a good bit of mold in master shower. The upstairs doesn’t get warm yet the downstairs will burn you out. Also, didn’t like having an outside door right next to bed so we put our kids in the master room with the king bed while we took the queen. There was also an overly abundant smell of weed when we came back in the second day from town. Almost like someone had been In there while we were gone though nothing seemed to be touched?! Lastly, the upstairs master room vent was broke and covering the hole not allowing much heat out at all. Bring your own blankets!!!!! We loved the table had 5 chairs which was perfect for us. Most places only have 4. It has really nice furnishings inside and out which is great considering it is pet friendly! It does have carpet upstairs that appeared to have staining but nothing to bad. Great views off balconies!!! The only other thing I can think could be a problem for some is parking at night. We managed to find a spot each night but it was packed and no extra room if you were to have a second car.

Location was great. The pool was drained and not in the unit and there was no hot tub. Only one set of towels so had to wash while we were there. Not a great view but had a great time with family. No remotes to the bedroom tvs available.

The manager was great phenomenal. The unit was in a great location 5-10 minutes from everything that I wanted to go see and visit. However, the unit was not very clean.

Quiet location not far from parkway

Main floor has been updated. Furniture was really nice in the living room. Beds were comfortable. Quiet area back away from all the traffic and action but on the parkway within a minute. Walt was very responsive to my concerns. The shower curtain in the hall bath needed changed. He had his employee come and put up a new one the next morning. We addressed some issues together and I was very happy with them as a host. I’m really picky on cleanliness and wasn’t satisfied with that part but other than that, we enjoyed our visit! Thanks Walt for getting back with us promptly every time we reached out to you! It was appreciated so much to have you available with any concerns! Such a relief when booking through Vrbo.

Scarlett`s Lair

The inside of the unit was a bit dated, common to the area, however was clean and as pictured, no issues with that at all. Upon arrival we had not been sent the door code to get in and had to contact the owner a couple times to be able to get into unit. The cable tv was not able to be used as it kept saying that the device needed to be reset. The outside of the unit was not maintained at all, weeds overgrown in what should have been flower beds, no actual plants there just way overgrown weeds, cigarette butts all over stairs and entrance to units on first floor, cobwebs all over the stairs, the whole building looked abandoned. There was construction on the unit one away from us that had sawing and banging from 8 am to past 8 pm and they took all but a few of the parking spaces for the whole building. The pool and hot tub were drained and not operational, we had not bee advised prior to arriving there would be no pool. The entire complex looked abandoned. The clubhouse next to our building had an abandoned car with flat tires in front. We left during the second day because it just didnt seem safe and was not as expected. The owner was friendly and seemed to be accommodating and did refund half of the cost back due to the issues.

Fantastic stay in Pigeon Forge

My family and I just stayed at this wonderful condo in Pigeon Forge, and it exceeded our expectations. The location couldn't have been better—right in the heart of everything you want to see and do. Whether it was exploring the nearby attractions or grabbing a bite to eat, everything was just a short drive away. Dollywood is right around the corner and at night we could see the fireworks right from the balcony. The condo itself was very nice and perfect size for our family. One of the biggest highlights for us was that it's pet friendly. It was great to bring along our furry friends on vacation. Additionally, the relaxing porches were a nice touch. We enjoyed many peaceful moments out there, taking in the fresh air and unwinding after a day of adventure. Overall, this condo made our trip to Pigeon Forge truly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and pet-friendly place to stay!

Location is everything!

The directions to the condo were perfect. We arrived ahead of time and was allowed to occupy the premises. The condo was what we were expecting, affording both couples privacy. The kitchen was more than adequate, providing everything needed to prepare food. The bedrooms are beautiful with both containing a porch for sitting outside. The shower/tub in the bathroom at the top of the stairs needed attention as the shower head was damaged and the tub appeared dirty. I contacted the owner with the issues. When we returned later in the day, the concerns had been addressed. Perfect location for accessing nearby attractions. Satisfied with our stay.

Fun Near the Forge

Scarlet’s Lair is located near all of the attractions in Pigeon Forge and near Gatlinburg. Walt was a pleasure to work with and very helpful. I recommend this place and hope to be back one day. Thank you!

Family vacation

The property was nice and clean very spacious. The only thing was it mention a hot tub and I didn't see one maybe ours didn't have one. It also mentioned that the view was great however the trees blocked that. The cable went out but no one can control that but all in all we really loved staying there.

Very disappointed, no response after our stay

Good Evening, I am just arriving home after spending the weekend in Scarlet's Lair. My friends and I wanted to share a little feedback with you about our stay. Upon arriving, we were very impressed with the condo being so well lite and welcoming. We were late arriving because we did site seeing and shopping along the way. As we got settled, we discovered a few things of concern. I am enclosing a few pictures of the upstairs hall bathroom, as an example. There were several things in the condo that were in disrepair. We left a list on the kitchen counter. One of the dining chairs had a broken leg and I almost fell out of it. One leg of the dining room table was loose and collapsing into the table. The light over the stove was out. Each toilet had an issue and none of the bathrooms were cleaned well. Down stairs leaking around the base, clogged very easily with decreased water pressure and the toilet paper holder was missing the center bar. The upstairs hall bath, was dirty (pics attached), flushed slowly with low water pressure. In the master bath, the water ran continuously and it wouldn't fill with water to flush. It did leak water onto the floor. We ended up just cutting of the water. In addition, there was hair on the back of it. We did find dirty, most likely used, silverware in the utensil drawer. Overall, the condo was dusty, including built up dust on the baseboards with cobwebs in the ceiling. More to follow....

Rod run stay

Great location. Could use a little better cleaning but not bad at all!! Everything worked no issues with anything or anyone. Parking was a little tight for my truck but nothing that couldn’t be handled

Both showers had black hair in them, there was what looked like “puke” in the corner of the shower in master bedroom. The website said there was a hot tub and there was Not a hot tub and the one with the indoor pool was broken. There was white dog hair in the extra bedroom and my dailuggter and granddaughter got bit by fleas (we did check for bedbugs and it was not bedbugs) and there was black short hair in my bed in the master bedroom. It needs to be cleaned better.

Great location

Definitely needs pest control, mouse feces in kitchen cabinets. I expect it to be able to swim while there, but the pool and spa were closed the entire time “maintenance“. I emailed property owner because I never received a email with the entry code. He responded quickly, but I did point out that I searched for a cabin with a private indoor pool in his condo showed up in that category. Was not aware that it was a second floor condo when we booked but it was to late to cancel once I realized. Advised him that the filtered search comes up inaccurately with the condo on Vrbo. Overall, it was a great location and we had a good time.

Lovely home

Location was so close to EVERYTHING. Gas, grocery store, Gatlingburg … the beds were soft as pillows! The entire place was cozy. The pool did not carry pool towels as stated so we had to leave wet 😩 hot tub was not working. I enjoyed the stay.

Hidden Gem

Great location, yet private. Nestled up to the back of Dollywood park. Pet friendly is a A+. Beds were comfortable, gas fireplace was awesome. Great views from three different balconies. Quite location. Communication with management was very kind, helpful and easy to contact. There was two areas of improvement, there were no sheets for fold out couch (we made due with two blankets)and no baking/casserole dish in kitchen. Overall it was a good visit and my family would stay here again in this hidden gem.
