The Schmittenhöhe ski area with 77 kilometers of slopes and 28 facilities and lifts is located directly in Zell am See, ideal for skiers and snowboarders. In total, the Zell am See - Kaprun region offers 3 ski areas with a total of over 400 kilometers of slopes with the 2 other ski areas Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm - Leogang - Fieberbrunn and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area.
