A quaint property walkable to the small town centre. We had nice views of the harbor and the room was spacious, but I wish there were better soap and shampoos included. Overall, a good place to rest for a night.

Lovely greeting on arrival. I was shown to the room I booked expecting to see a slightly tired room as it was advertised as budget studio. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very clean bright and comfortable room with all the amenities I would need. Despite it being advertised as no parking the lady I spoke to offered to let me park my motorcycle in the garage. This room was perfect for me I would definitely recommend it.

Incredible views from our balcony! Right near the waterfront and harbour. Parking was free although a little tight. Owners were lovely and very helpful upon check in. Great choice for a stay in Picton!

Everything you need from a motel

Very good overnight stay en route to ferry. Everything you need to self cater in this simple clean motel with lovely views of Picton Harbour. Lady at reception was a bonus.

Perfect view in wonderful Picton

A lovely stay! Very friendly, helpful staff is location close to everything but quiet. The most comfortable bed we had all trip and the most beautiful view of wonderful Picton harbour. Could have sat on the balcony and watched the boars and ferries all day. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues but overall a wonderful stay. Think about staying a couple of nights rather than rushing from the ferry. Picton is lovely with lots to offer and this was a fabulous place to stay.

This property needs some love. They say the property is a “no smoking” property but the room smelled like an ashtray after the excessive amount of cleaning product wears off. We mentioned it upon leaving and was told “yeah we are working on it”. Bed and couch should be tossed as they are worn out. I would not stay again for sure.

Nice motel

We only stayed here overnight, but the motel was easy to find, had parking (very steep and a bit tricky in parts, but close to units), had spacious rooms and a beautiful outlook from a patio overlooking Picton harbour. We checked in late and information about late check-in was emailed to us and easy to follow. When parking, despite being late, the manager came out and met us, asking if we were all good and assisting us with parking. The room itself was clean, comfortable and had a small kitchenette.

One night stay in Picton, just OK.

This stay was Ok. Even though it’s a motel I was expecting a little better from the reviews. The place is nicer than others because of the view, but the rooms are a little tired. There was no duvet cover on the comforter so not sure if they wash the whole comforter each time (doubtful). The shower was not great, shampoo bottles would slide off the shelves and crash on your feet while showering. The driveway is very unpleasant to roll larger suitcases up and down. We appreciated the laundry available for guests. This comment is not a knock on the motel- but Picton does not have many crosswalks for pedestrians so you either have to run across lanes of traffic or go pretty far out of your way in this section to find a proper crosswalk. Not fun when rolling large suitcases up and down hills to the ferry.
