Been here a few times now as a first night in Spain and offers a good nights sleep, floor in my room was a bit bouncy (laminate) but not a problem. Decent size with a good bathroom. Had two nights here so had a chance to ride the Picos again, the road out into Spain runs through a National Park with cattle and horses just two of the things to look out for on the road. Only about 30 miles from the ferry so an easy ride from the evening ferry arrival. Good four course dinner and adequate breakfast. Didn'y use the Spa or indoor pool but both look good.

Dreadful room, some lights not working, dirty and tiny. Complained and changed rooms. Food was poor and breakfast just dreadful. Whilst we stayed the main bar in the hotel was closed. Throughout the hotel all mini bars had been stripped of their contents by the hotel owners - WHY

We stayed here one night on a bicycle tour. The room was modern and comfortable. The bathroom was a little crowded, but nice. The hotel and surrounding area were peaceful and quiet. We particularly liked the private balcony with chairs. We did not use the spa. Internet connection was painfully slow. Mostly this was a very pleasant place to stay.

I went to this hotel with my partner, we spent the afternoon in the spa and then we went to dinner at the restaurant. The spa was good but a bit small and the water was a little cold. The best thing was the Turkish bath that had a very nice smell of mint. The dinner was the best, excellent quality and enough quantity. We ate a delicious salad with goat cheese and caramelized onion and a delicious fish with vegetables and the dessert a delicious chocolate ice cream... The hotel staff were very friendly and nice to us, I will return one day...!

Stayed here again with MSL motor cycle tours, as before very pleasant hotel, good rooms, helpful staff and a good evening meal with wine included. Great road out towards the Picos but beware of the cows and horses on the roads (and what they leave on the corners). Signposts even warn you about frogs and toads crossing the road. Lovely part of the world.

Stayed at this hotel early summer, just as season was starting. Lovely place, location & staff, but would recommend a car as it's out in the hills. Great for walking. Good food, even though we were there before the official opening for summer, there was still plenty of choice from a fixed menu. Peak season there is a full menu Definitely go again, lovely place & very nice rooms

This is a gem of a find. The hotel is in a great location for sight seeing. There are fantastic walks all around, and the drives from the location are brilliant. The staff are extremely friendly, and the rooms and public areas are clean and tidy. The windows in the restaurant could do with a cleaning, I might not have noticed only for the views from the windows are something else. Very quite at night, and the meals were very good. The price for half board also included wine and water as well. I would definitely go back there again. It was lovely to have the spa when you return from hiking and driving in the mountains.

What a lovely hotel. We stayed here one night at the beginning of the holiday and one night at the end of the holiday. The reception was very helpful, the facilities are very clean and the rooms are very nice. There is a lovely outlook from the bedroom -- it is a shame there is a power line going over the outside which spoils the view a bit. I requested an adapted room as I am a wheelchair user and this was excellent. Unlike some other hotels they didn't give us a tucked away room and our room had a nice view. All the hotel was wheelchair friendly. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and had an amazing value dinner. €16 gave you a three course dinner a bottle of wine and a bottle of water (for two). The food was top quality and the cheesecake was to die for. I had a lot of cheesecake while in Spain but this was the best. My husband I would certainly consider staying here for a longer period.

We had four nights as part of a Brittany Ferries deal. Alas, the company did not alert the hotel about the strike and we had no mobile reception....bad BF service to one of their partner hotels. Drove up through France to Calais, a sad end to our eagerly-awaited first holiday break in nearly three years. Otherwise, great stay in comfort and, above all, staff that went any extra mile they could think of! The statuesque Vanessa got top rating on the desk but her restaurant colleagues came a very close second. We loved the food, especially the grilled monkfish! The only disconcerting episode was an outbreak of fierce dog barking at 6.30 am on Saturday morning which heralded the arrival of upwards of 70 hunters at a cafe two doors away for the start of the wild boar season! The dogs had been starved and the din was cacophonic! Lost a little sleep but the experience of that noise is one we'll treasure....a rare exposure to Cantabrian male folk culture... Wimbledon, UK

We just spend 4 lovely nights in this hotel. An excellent location for walking and exploring and the hotel itself was perfect-a very relaxing and comfortable place. Staff are friendly and helpful and despite our laak of spanish really tried to translate and help out. Food in the restaurant is delicious and set menu is good value.
