Location: a little too far away from everything for my liking. It's around 20 minutes walk to Bangla Road and the centre. Room: Really nice and big. Big safe that could even store my laptop. Hotel generally: I haven't used the pool area but the hotel seemed rather dated. Reception stuff barely spoke english but they did get me a room early when I arrived which was nice. Late check-out is 200 baht per hour, which stroke me as bad client service really. The hotel was basically empty so I dont understand why this was a problem. However, I called for a tooth brush and this was brought up to me free of charge in no time. For the price the hotel was really ok but I wouldn't stay longer than a few nights.

Front counter staff are very very rude! Our family arrived where we had booked 5 rooms. We were greeted by a horrible woman that firstly made us wait several minutes as she checked her Facebook right in front of us. Once she greeted us she was rude & very unhelpful. When she was confronted and told she was rude and we didn’t appreciate being spoken to like that, she laughed then starting talking to someone in another language, obviously about us. She definitely put a downer on this hotel. If you do decide to stay here, go straight across the road to the Baan Thai for food.... very good & super friendly staff. As for the hotel, it’s nice. They do charge a 2000 baht security bond for each room. One of the staff was writing down my credit card details on a piece of paper... I took this paper back and ripped it up as the rooms & security bonds had already been paid. I don’t see a reason to have credit card details, particularly handwritten on a piece of paper.

WE were really disappointed by this hotel. The "pool access" room was very insignificant, small filled with mosquitos and not clean. The hotel is run down. The pool was very cold and had NO sun on it at all. Basically, this is a low budget hotel. Don't waste your time. For December, you are just going to have to pay more money for a better place. The location was ok.

Let me start off by saying that I am no fan of Patong. Having stayed in Karon and Kata beach before this bit is not my favourite part of Phuket. However that aside, the Lunar Patong is very central, within walking distance of the beach and Junceylon Centre. Everything you could want from the convenience store, massages, pharmacy and restaurants are on your doorstep. The room has everything you could need and is comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. It however reminds me of a business hotel and I quite like the places that are a bit unique and are more resort like. If you need a place to sleep and stow your luggage you will have no problems here.

Lunar Patong is situated on the main road and very close to many convenience store, eateries and massage center. The room is very spacious and clean. Service is good and attentive as well. Will definitely stay there again.

Arriving the first night you have building going on until 9pm right outside your window, after complaining nothing is done. Second night they still building at 9:30pm and you'll definitely be woken up on Sunday morning very early with the noise of them. I don't recommend this hotel if your looking to rest.

We stayed at Lunar Patong Hotel during a great trip organized by Almusafer Travel Agency ALMUSAFER! We really enjoyed accept a few communications issues at the beginning caused by miss informations concerning our prepaid reservations for the group! Any way finaly they resolve out. We really love the rooms are clean and spacious, the location is great and the buffet is good and enough. The only little problems is communication due a basic level of ingles for some hotel staff Any way the try to do the best most of the time Many thanks to my friend Jihad ALMUSAFER for all his efforts to organise this lovely trip We'll be back soon😉 Hakim Naji

Good location nearby Bangla road but not too close and walking distance to beach as well , staff are very accommodating and great massage place opposite hotel , only problem is the toilet roll which you have to keep calling reception if you run out.

We chose this hotel for our first day in Phuket as our flight arrives late in the night, we just needed a budget place to crash for the night before going to other resorts as well as it was near Patong beach and Bangla road if we decided to have a night out. Arrived around 11pm local time and went to check in at the lobby, had a bit of a problem with their card readers not being able to charge us for the room despite using different cards and several attempts, we decided to pay in cash instead as it was around THB800+ only. Got to our room and I can say it was clean and spacious enough, with a small private balcony, a clean toilet and shower, a queen size bed. We decided to cancel going out and stay in instead as it was pretty late and it was raining a bit. The following day we checked the place and found they had a pool on the 2nd floor but we didn't take a dip as we went exploring the nearby establishments for brunch and bought some groceries to take along. Checking out was fast and they had a separate taxi and tour attendant kiosk if ever you need one. Booked for a transpo after lunch to get to our other destination, the taxi we got was a private van and the price was good enough, was not charged more than expected. A recommended place to stay for a budget traveller or if you plan to party in Patong or Bangla road.

Near to shopping and beach, just to 5 minute to Jungcylon , Patong beach Bangla Road. Easy to find local and nice restaurant near by the hotel. I like this hotel, suitable price clean room and nice services.
