Hotel is in the back alley of a road.Quite difficult to locate if the taxi does not know.So do confirm the location with taxi who knows. Lobby with no AC with permanently closed restaurant. Allowed me for early check in at 10am. Acceptable room with bath tub and a balcony. Free bottles water but no boiler with mini fridge. Lot of TV channels but mostly Thai's. Cleans room every day but you need to leave the key at reception. Limited bathroom amenities. Location although back of alley but still walking distance to main road. 24hours shop and restaurant close by and 10 min walk to a night market.
Let's start with the simple things that were wrong with the hotel, before moving onto the rest. The TV didn't work. There was no wifi in the room. The windows don't open. There's no remote for the aircon. I can only describe the shower as something you might find in a monkey laboratory, where they have to figure out puzzles to get to the food behind a glass screen. But the monkeys actually have it easier, because once they've figured it out once they know how to do it afterwards, this shower didn't get any easier to use even after the 3rd time. The shower head was at a height of about 5 ft 5 inches. So almost every man, even Asians, who want to use this shower, will have to stoop to get underneath it. All of that is just inconvenient. Here's the real problem. We tried to check in at 7pm, there was nobody there. After many phonecalls, we got through to somebody at about 8:30pm. He said somebody would come in a minute. 10-15 minutes somebody arrives, then asks us to wait 5 minutes. 5 minutes later somebody else arrives and he is able to check us in. So roughly 2 hours after we arrive, we can go to the room. Before we are given a key he asks for the booking confirmation number. I take about 5 minutes to find it on my phone because my data package is slow. At one point he says "quickly please". Well, you can imagine my reaction to that. During the whole 2 hours, there is no member of staff in sight, the phone is ringing constantly, until I can't stand it any longer and have to take it off the hook. There are flat screen TVs, high end furniture, room keys and everything else you'd expect to find in a hotel lobby, and there's absolutely nothing to stop anybody turning up in a van, loading it full and driving off. He also says the room 'might not be clean', as if that's completely normal and typical for a hotel. He's right, it isn't really clean, but it's just dust and the bed is okay. If you have to stay here, check in early.
The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. The room is confortable, however I think could be better. They dont have too many amenities no breakfast, no calls from rooms and also not calls from lobby. It has potential and it was okay for what we pay but is not the best place.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk from Patong beach - definitely walkable, it just took us a day or so to get used to the traffic! Lots of cheap food places nearby. Hotel and room was very tidy. The only problem was that the hotel had been advertised as having a computer, which it didn't - however the reception staff were nice enough to charge my phone from their computer, so it wasn't a problem. The rooms had free wifi.
Perfect if you want to stay away of the loud Patong and Bangla road. We had a large room with panoramic windows. A little bit noisy during the day because of the nearby constructions. A 24/7 grocery store just next to the hotel. A scooter is needed to get to the beaches.
The place is shocking. Room smelt of smoke, even worse with air con on. Hole in the ceiling in the bathroom. Not spacious at all. Leaks all in the reception from the air con. Building site opposite hotel. The lady on reception was friendly. The guy on the other hand really rude and never even said a word when checked out. Benefit they took out the 40" TVs in the room and improved on everything else!
I stayed for 2 nights during Dec last week. Reception lady/guy can understand English and were very helpful. Patong beach is 20 min walk and tuktuk will charge 200baht. Good to have your bike if you stay here. 11/7 and family mart are as close as 100mts from here. I left coins 47 baht in room and could not find them after returning from my day trip to James Bond island. May be cleaning staff considered it as tip left for them. You will find similar hotels near patong beach also.
I wanted to stay away from the beach as I found it too loud. Plus, at this part of the area, you can find a more local touch with more food carts and smaller restaurants that cater more to locals. Location wise, I found it perfect. A walk away from convenience stores, a taxi stand and locals offering laundry service. It's a pretty decent place if you want a quiet night's sleep without being too far away from the beach. When I arrived, it seemed that the hotel was undergoing a few minor improvements. They were fixing up the wifi in the building and it was pretty busy with people coming in and out. But despite this, the staff were really professional and handled things pretty well. I traveled with my girlfriend and we were pretty impressed as the rooms exceeded our expectations. There was a little sand in the room but come on, that can't be helped. There was a small balcony for the room. There wasn't much of a view but a breath of fresh air would surely do good once in a while. Small spread for breakfast but it was good enough. There was staff standing, ready to tend to your needs which I felt was really good service. Overall, I feel that it's a pretty decent place and I would come again considering the good service I've received. I had a chat with the guy who manages the place and he helped me find my way around and provide me with assistance.
Me and my friends stayed here for a week. Great rooms for the price with LCD tv's. 5 minute walk from the beach. The guy at reception was very friendly and advised us on various activities. Price was great and good location.
I booked this hotel with wotif site, paid for 3 nights stay with c/card,on arrival the staff at reception say we not have room? then later put me in a standard room, very small, next day they say i have not paid money? i show my receipt, but they do not understand english, even after i show my receipt,no wi fi working, and 2 comp in foyer keep freezing up.i send email to wotif explaining my situation, wotif say they have sent email to hotel,i tried to tell staff to check their email, but they do not understand me at all. Also hotel is miles away from town,a good 30 minute walk?? not in the centre of patong as mentioned on their site.Overall would not stay their ever again, breakfast was cold every morning, and not good at all.
