Stayed 1 week at this fantastic resort. The bungalows are very big and super nice. The a/c works silently and the bed is comfy. I often use earplugs when travelling... not needed here! The pool area is great and you are actually able to really swim a long stretch as the pool extends around the restaurant like a moat. The only minor complaint is that some guests occupy the sunbeds the whole day without actually being present. The restaurant is very nice both for the breakfast and a candlelight dinner. I recommned sitting outside; the setting is beautiful. The resort is located away from the beach; however a shuttle is provided, so not a big problem. We rented a car, which really can be recommended so you're not depending on taxis all the time. It is true that you could be offered to buy into the Mangosteen vacation concept for future use. However it is done very politely and if you don't even want to hear about it, then that is OK too. Not a problem.

We are just home from 8 nights here we stayed in a superior jacuzzi villa which was very big and comfy. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t have done enough to help. We had great theme nights at the restaurant and the pool is big and beautiful, we spent a lot of days at the swim up bar during the happy hours which was a lot of fun. We had a late flight the day we checked out and we received a letter the night before on our bed offering us use of the shower and facilities in the spa which was perfect after spending the day at the beach. Loved the fact that it’s adult only. We used the free shuttle to the beach and markets

We first went to Mangosteen years ago as a couple and loved it. We went back with our adult children a couple of years ago and they loved it too. We went back with them and partners as well and had a great time again. The consistent high quality, attention to detail and friendly staff is outstanding. The design of the resort is a visual feast and it is large enough to have real presence and not so large as to be impersonal.

The Mangosteen is a beautiful hotel. I stayed twice in one of the mini villas. However, the price for staying is way too high. First of all since they haven't done any upgrades of the hotel since my first stay in 2007. Secondly they have no special scenery like a sea view. That's why I deducted 1 star.

We felt that the scandinavian guide at the resort, lost interest in us and avoided us, as we did not want to buy the menbership, he was selling . But the other staff was smilling and helpful, and there was a fantastic service. We can recommend the spa treatment.

Spent a very enjoyable week at Mangosteen. Lovely boutique hotel in quiet and serene setting. Friendly and helpful staff are to be commended..Very comfortable beds. Enjoyed free shuttles to market and to Nai Harn Beach.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Mangosteen resort! It looks very pretty in a beautiful garden and a very nice pool. Also the staf is very friendly! We also used the Spa facilities which was nice! We would like it when they served more " healthy" juices and smoothies and some salads at the pool! Overall a very good choice for a relaxed couple of days.

A lovely place! Beautiful and quite resort perfect for couples (without kids). We stayed at the superior villa, homey and had a big comfortable bed and nice jacuzzi. Big assortemt at the mini-bar and great room service. Very friendly and helpful staff. We also met the owners - a friendly and down to earth couple. The resort is located away from the beach, but has a shuttle-bus service ti the beatiful NaiHarn beach. Themes at the restaurants and free yoga once a week and pool-diving intro at the pool twice a week with Sea Bees who arranges superb diving/ snorkeling trips. Nice pool area and pool-bar with happy hour at afternoon. Small gym with ok facilities. Excellent breakfast buffet. Restaurant prices a bit pricey compared to restaurants outside the resort. Great restaurants not far away fom the resort. We would definitely come back.

Very nice and pleasant holidays. Room and surroundings fine and clean. Fine food and good service from staff. Fine swimmingpool with good sunchairs, not crowded. Nice intertainment once a weekend. Will returnere to this resort again soon.

The hotel is really nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and I professional. A bit of English language training could help but its not too bad as it is either. We have staid for 2 weeks and it was great over all. In my opinion it is more suitable for people over 50s, however maybe this was just the type of guests that staid there during our visit. I MUST say that the pool water is the cleanest i have ever seen and the person who does this job should be really congratulated for this job.
