The first impression at the resort was its green and peaceful atmosphere. If you are a couple or a family seeking hideaway vacation, this is the right place. Talking about service, my partner and I had stayed there for 3 nights (Wed to Sat) and experienced good guest service overall. However, on Wednesday's dinner and Thursday's breakfast, we had waited too long for the meal to be served and did not get what we actually ordered. We thought the resort might be short of staff on these days. Things improved after that. We noticed more staff on board and got what we expected. Now let's talk about its facilities, the resort is currently under renovation for ita rooms, resatautant and main pool, expecting completion by end of June). We knew about the renovation in advanve so this was absolutely acceptable. Fortunately, the pool opened on Friday afternoon so we could enjoy the edged pool and nice view of Koh Yao Yai. Another good thing is that the resort's management was pretty fast in responding to guest's comments. We left our comments in feedback form and was listened and apologized before leaving the premise. Hope this information help. We had a good time there anyway :-)

Arriving toKoh Yao Yai you know from the second you get on the boat over that you will be taken care of. The staff go out of there way to make sure your stay is the best possibly stay ever and I have just left and I'm already so sad. The food is pretty good too! Everything is easy from The pool to the food to even having a little store on the property. It's exactly what you would want to stay at if you wanted a get away. Simply amazing!!!

It was a far away from the island of Phuket however the interesting part is you have a chance to experience different kind of mode of transportation such as from speed boat to local long tail boat to free shuttle service pick up from pier. Therefore from that my friend and I found this as an amazing travel experience at first. Moreover when we arrived to resort it amazed us a lot from a quite surroundings very peaceful places and you feel relaxed. You can enjoy the nature. From the front desk they are very welcoming. Giving cold towels with refreshing welcome drinks. We are feel welcome and at home. Check in is very smooth and from reception area we take a buggy car going to our room. And another lovely experience. The room was so clean and mesmerizing i like the set up and it was a good view. We just stayed here for 2 nights and i want to extend more but i need to come to work. But definitely we will surely come back and recommend this resort to our friends out there. See you all around. Special thanks to Ayie and JR from the front desk.

Beautiful Eco hotel. Very cool naturally inspired bungalow rooms. Peaceful and well thought out concept. AMAZING wrap around pool...is just beautiful. Swim up bar in pool. A view to die for. Lovely friendly staff. Food in the restaurants is great. Breakfast is good but no bacon because its a muslim island. All food is nice and the selection of artisan breads at breakfast is lovely. Nothing much around the hotel but jungle so if you want a place with other restuarants etc nearby then this isnt it...but if you want a place to truly relax...then this is it. Fabulous stay. Loved it! It is set in a jungle so you have to put up with the creepy crawlies, but the only wildlife really are few cats that are puurrfectly friendly. They put mosi killers in your room each night. Out door showers are very liberating. The spa is fabulous and well worth the visit. However the prices are a bit steep for Thailand..but they do vouchers and managers specials which are ok value. I did one of these and it was a lovely experience. This has been the best hotel value wise I have ever stayed in, and i am VERY fussy!! Overall this was a beautiful ending to our fabulous holiday hopping the islands. Dont want to go home 😣 will definately come back here as soon as we can!

We had a fantastic time at Koh Yao Yai Village. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We were greeted with drinks and cool towels. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and had an extremely comfortable bed. The food at the restaurants is delicious and the ambience of the village is amazing. The pools (yes two pools) were amazing and had amazing views of the beach. I woke up early one morning and was able to see an amazing sunrise. I would highly recommend staying here.

This place is just lovely. The staff, the service, the accommodation, the thought that has gone into the resort. Normally we are chasing to the beach every day but the pool and the calm music has been like a few days at a retreat. Thank you for all your help with my broken bracelet today and your kindness There are no faults at all. We feel your resort reaches 100% The little frogs, bats, cats and the iguana really helped make our stay too 😀

The resort is nicely located with two very beautiful located swimmingpools. One of them has a inpool bar. The cabins are nice and reasonable taken care of. The maintenance of the resort is not good. A lot of lose wooden planks in the restaurant and sun veranda floors. Staff is pretty nice but most of them cannot speak english. Despite the fact that the island has a lot of fruit stores, the resort buys its fruit in Phuket. In our case this meant that we couldn't have the mango. Verry annoying to know that the local people don' t profit from this decayed resort and that the guest cannot order bananas and mangos. It was our first stay but also our last. A not bad location to stay but keep in mind that the resort will be more decayed over the next years.

There isn't much more you could ask for in a resort. The staff were superb. Excellent English and very helpful. Beach access. The main pool is beautiful (there is a second that I did not visit). It overlooks the ocean and there was a swim-up bar. Delicious buffet style breakfast. Well designed bungalow style accommodations that are modern and well maintained. Lots of cats, so good if you like cats.

Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay and we really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet, beautiful, great bungalows, excellent pool, perfect location. A few things that could be improved: 1) Food is ok, but was pretty bland. Not a lot of Thai flavor or spice, and the curries were thin and not much flavor. Breakfast was good, but rest of menu needs to improve. 2) Spa and longtail boat trips are very expensive compared to other places. A half-day boat trip on Phi Phi was less than half the price of a similar one from Koh Yao Yai Village.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and very cute (but be prepared for the occasional friendly lizard). The food was awesome everytime. We were there for the festival of lights and the activities around this were great. The views were awesome and they were waiting for us at the pier upon arrival. There are moped rentals right outside the gate of the hotel for easy access to the island. The spa had good traditional thai massages.
